My first pick for this game is for the Georgia Bulldogs Jabri Abdur-Rahim. He is putting up respectable numbers for the Georgia Bulldogs throughout their first three games of the season and he will be looking to drop another quality performance as they look for a top 15 victory here on Friday afternoon. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Georgia Bulldogs throughout the early part of the regular season as he is averaging 16 points per game so far this year. He has also been crashing the boards at times as he comes into this game averaging four rebounds per game for Georgia as well. The one thing he will need to improve is his shooting percentage as he is shooting around 36% from the field throughout their first three games of the season which is something that will have to change if they want to remain competitive this year. I expect him to post a quality performance here on Friday afternoon against Miami as I look for him to go over his total points here in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the Miami Hurricanes Wooga Poplar. He has been posting solid numbers for Miami throughout the early part of the regular season, and he comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Hurricanes as well. I look for him to record another quality performance in this Bahama hoops classic against Georgia here on Friday afternoon as Miami looks to remain undefeated on the season. Miami has picked up three consecutive victories to open up the year, and some of that can be attributed to the performance of Poplar who is averaging over 20 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season. He has been shooting the basketball efficiently as well as he is shooting around 58% from the floor and I expect him to record another fantastic performance in this game on Friday afternoon against Georgia. As I look for him to go over his total points in this game against the Bulldogs as Miami looks to start the season with a fourth consecutive victory.

Bucknell @ #9 Duke – 6pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Duke Blue Devils, Kyle Filipowski. There was a ton of speculation that he could have entered the NBA draft after his freshman season, but he decided to return to Durham and play for Duke one more year. So far it has paid off for the Blue Devils as he is posting quality numbers throughout their first few games of the regular season. He will be looking to replicate those numbers in this game on Friday night at home against Bucknell as Duke looks to bounce back from their loss to Arizona. He comes into this game averaging around 22 points per game and he is shooting the basketball around 57% from the field and he will be looking to replicate and improve upon both of those numbers in this game here on Friday night. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Kyle Filipowski to go over his total points for the Blue Devils against Bucknell here in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the Bucknell Bisons Jack Forrest. He comes into this game as their leading scorer, and he has put up some quality performances throughout the early part of the regular season for Bucknell. He will be looking to replicate those performances in this massive game against Duke on Friday night as they look for a huge upset early on in the year. He comes into this game averaging around 17 points per game this season and he will be looking to equal or surpass that number on the road in Durham here in this game. He will need to improve upon his shooting percentage as he is shooting around 41% from the floor throughout their first three games of the season if he wants to maintain long-term success throughout the year. Regardless of that at the moment I do expect him to post quality numbers in this game on Friday night against Duke, as he looks to lead the bison to an upset of a top ranked team in the country. That is why I have him going over his total points in this game on Friday night.

Butler @ #18 Michigan State – 6:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Butler Bulldogs Posh Alexander. The transfer is putting up solid numbers in his first season with Butler and he will be looking to keep that trend going with a quality performance here on Friday night in East Lansing against the Spartans. He has been a consistent scorer throughout his college career and he will be looking to maintain that pace as Butler looks to pick up a top 25 upset and give Michigan State their second loss of the regular season already. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for Butler as he is averaging around 14 points per game throughout their first three games of the season. He has been shooting the basketball over 50% from the floor as he comes into this game shooting around 54% with the ball in his hands. He has averaged double digits throughout the entirety of his college basketball career and I expect him to record double digit points in this game against Michigan State as well. As I look for Alexander to go over his total points in this game on Friday night.
My second pick for this game is for the Michigan State Spartans Tyson Walker. He is posting incredible numbers throughout their first three games of the season, and he will be looking to record another quality performance here on Friday night against Butler at home. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Michigan State Spartans as he is averaging over 20 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season. He is averaging around 24 points per game through the first three games of the season for Michigan State and he is shooting the basketball efficiently as well. As he comes into this game shooting around 54% from the floor, he will be looking to improve upon both of those numbers in this game on Friday night against Butler as Michigan State looks for their third victory of the season. He is coming into his own during his third season with The Program and I look for him to record another quality performance here in this game on Friday night. As I look for Tyson Walker to go over his total points against Butler.

My first pick for this game is for the Maryland Terrapins Jahmir Young. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for Maryland through their first three games of the season as he is averaging around 15 points per game. He has been consistent, rebounding the basketball and passing the basketball as well as he averages around four rebounds and six assists per game for Maryland. However, he will need to improve his shooting efficiency, as he is shooting under 40% from the floor, which is not something that is sustainable for long-term success this season. I still look for him to post a quality performance in this early season matchup against Villanova as Maryland looks to grab a top 25 victory on the road with an upset wind over the Wildcats. This is his second year with the program after transferring from Charlotte, and he has made a solid jump from last year to this year, and he will be looking to maintain that pace with another quality performance here in this game. That is exactly what I expect as I look for him to go over his total points here on Friday night.
My second pick for this game is for the Villanova, Wildcats Justin Moore. He has been solid for Villanova through their first three games of the season, and he will be looking to record another fantastic game here on Friday night against Maryland at home. They will also be looking to bounce back from their loss to Penn and their previous game as it never feels good to lose to a rival that you should’ve beaten by double digits. Justin Moore will have to step up in this game if he wants to lead Villanova back to the win column against a solid Maryland team early on in the year. He comes into this game averaging around 19 points per game through their first three games of the season and he will be looking to replicate or surpass that number here on Friday night. Despite scoring over 20 points in their loss, he was inefficient from the field, which hurt Villanova down the stretch. I expect that to change here in this one as I look for him to rebound along with the team and go over his points here on Friday night with a more efficient shooting performance.

My first pick for this game is for the Belmont Bruins Ja’Kobi Gillespie. He has put up fantastic numbers throughout their first three games of the season, and he will be looking to put up a quality performance here against Arizona as Belmont looks for a massive upset. He comes into this game as their active leading score as he is averaging around 17 points per game on the season. He has been consistent, rebounding the basketball and passing the ball as well as he is averaging around five rebounds and five assists per game for Belmont. He has also been efficiently shooting the basketball throughout their first three games as he is shooting around 51% from the field. I expect him to post another quality performance in this huge game for them on Friday night on the road against a top three team in the country as I look for Ja’Kobi Gillespie to go over his total points in this game on Friday night for the Belmont Bruins.
My second pick for this game is for the Arizona Wildcats to go over their total points as a team in this game against Belmont on Friday night at home. It is pick your poison with the Arizona Wildcats this season as they have several different double digit scores throughout the early part of the year. Their entire starting lineup is putting up quality numbers and they have some guys coming off the bench recording quality numbers as well. That makes it hard to single out one guy to have a fantastic performance when they hit the court. That is why I expect them to have an efficient team performance in this game on Friday night against Belmont as all of their guys will likely get involved on the stat sheet here in this one at home as they look to remain undefeated on the season, and further establish themselves as a national championship contender. I could easily see four or five guys registering double digit points in this game for Arizona on Friday night and I expect them to go over their total points as a team because of that.
