#2 Purdue @ #11 Gonzaga – 5pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Purdue Boilermakers senior Zach Edey. He is arguably the best player in the country, and he is off to a fantastic start this season. He will be looking to record another quality performance here on Monday night against Gonzaga. He will be looking to lead Purdue a much-needed victory early on in the year as it would allow them to grab an early season résumé builder against one of the top teams in the country. He has led the way for this team throughout the last three seasons and I don’t see anything different happening in this game as I look for him to be the driving force for success for Purdue this season. He comes into this game averaging around 21 points per game throughout their first three games of the season and I look for him to go over his total points here in this game on Monday night against the Gonzaga Bulldogs as well.
My second pick for this game is for the Gonzaga Bulldogs Braden Huff. He is having a solid season through their first two games of the year, and he will be looking to maintain that pace with another quality performance in this early season matchup against the top team in the country. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, and he will be looking to record another quality performance in this game as he looks to add to his 21 points per game average here against Purdue. My first pick for this game is for the UConn Huskies Alex Karaban. He has put up quality numbers throughout the weekend and he will be looking to cap off a solid weekend with another quality performance here on Monday night against the Texas Longhorns. He is off to a fantastic start this season, and he will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night against the defending national champions, as Texas looks for résumé building victory early on in the season. He put up a quality performance in their victory on Sunday, and he will be looking to replicate that performance here on Monday night as they look for a résumé building victory early on in the season against the defending national champions. It would also be a massive momentum boost for Texas, heading into their final season of Big 12 conference play, and throughout the remainder of their nonconference schedule as well. He put up 10 points coming off the bench and I look for him to post a solid scoring performance here on Monday as I look for him to go over his total points in this game against Connecticut.

My first pick for this game is for the Kansas Jayhawks Hunter Dickinson. The Michigan transfer is putting up fantastic numbers during his first few games as a member of the Kansas Jayhawks and he will be looking to replicate those numbers in the opening game of the Maui Invitational. This is arguably the most prestigious in-season tournament in all of college basketball and all the eyes will be on him here on Monday night in the opening game of the tournament, and he will be looking to deliver a fantastic performance. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Kansas Jayhawks as he is averaging 22 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season. He has been shooting the basketball efficiently as well as he is shooting around 66% from the floor and I expect him to have another quality game here on Monday night as I look for him to go over his total points.
My second pick for this game is for the Kansas Jayhawks, KJ Adams. He comes into this game as the third leading scorer for Kansas throughout the early part of the regular season, and he is their third double digit scorer as well. He is currently averaging around 14 points per game throughout the early part of the year and he will be looking to replicate that performance here on Monday night as they look to open up the Maui Invitational with a victory. He has also turned into someone of a solid rebounder throughout the early part of the year as he is averaging around five rebounds per game coming into this game on Monday night against Chaminade. A victory in the opening round of this tournament would be a solid momentum boost for Marquette and an early season resume builder against a solid UCLA team heading into the remainder of November. Jones comes into this game averaging nearly 20 points per game throughout their first three games of the regular season and he will be looking to replicate those numbers with the quality performance here on Monday. That is exactly what I expect as I also look for him to go over his total points here on Monday night against UCLA as Marquette looks open to up the Maui Invitational tournament with a victory.
