My second pick for this game is for the Kansas Jayhawks to pick up the victory over the North Dakota State Bison in the second game of the season. The Kansas Jayhawks and the reigning and defending college basketball national champions and I expect them to pick up right where they left off this season and cruise to an easy win.

Texas Southern @ #25 Texas Tech – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Texas Tech Red Raiders to hold Texas Southern under their total points in this game. Texas Tech has always been a solid program on the defensive end of the court and that is one of the main things that helped lead them to a national championship appearance a few years ago. I expect that defensive pedigree to show out in this game as well.

Realistically this game should be an easier one for the Red Raiders and I don’t expect them to have much of a problem picking up the victory. As I look for them to shut down the offensive output of Texas Southern in this game.

As I look for both of these teams to put up at least 70-80 points a piece.
