Houston vs Villanova – 6:09pm ET

The Houston Cougars and Villanova Wildcats are going to face off in what technically will be a battle of mid-major schools for a trip to the Final Four. But there is nothing mid about these two schools. As Villanova is looking to cement a dynasty by winning their third national title in six tournaments. While Houston is looking to once again establish itself as a powerhouse as well.

My first pick for this game is Villanova’s Collin Gillespie. He had made headlines throughout the tournament for his incredible play over Villanova’s first three games of the tournament. He is averaging nearly 16 points a game and I am expecting another big performance from him in this one as he looks to add his name to the list of legendary Villanova Wildcats who made their mark in the month of March.

My second pick for this game is a Villanova Wildcats victory over the Houston Cougars on Saturday evening. Villanova is a tough team to beat and it is fair to say that Jay Wright is the best head coach in the country behind Duke’s Coach K. Wright has built a dynasty at this little catholic school just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and I look for it to keep growing with a huge win in this game.

Arkansas @ Duke – 8:49pm ET

The Arkansas Razorbacks survived a few upset opportunities in the first couple of rounds before scoring a huge upset of their own over the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Meanwhile the legendary run of Duke’s Coach K is alive and well for another game. They will also be looking to set up a final four rematch with rivals North Carolina in what would be one of the most anticipated NCAA Tournament games in history.

My first pick for this game is Paolo Banchero. The standout freshman and likely Atlantic Coast Conference freshman of the year has been the main force behind the Duke Blue Devils success this season. Alongside Wendell Moore and Trevor Keels they have created one of the most dangerous and dominant three headed monsters in college basketball this season. Now they will be looking to send Coach K off in style.

My second pick in this game is a Duke Blue Devils victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in this game. This is something that fate just can’t seem to resist as it seems more and more likely they are destined to meet North Carolina in the final four at the beginning of April. This potential matchup with the Tar Heels would mark the first ever time these two teams would meet in the NCAA tournament and the atmosphere around it would be iconic.

Miami @ Kansas – 2:20pm ET

The Miami Hurricanes Cinderella run continues, while Kansas is the last number one seed remaining in the tournament. Now they will meet in the Elite Eight for a trip to the final four. Miami has never made it this far in the tournament, while Kansas is used to this big stage as they look to reclaim their rightful spot on top of the college basketball mountain.

My first pick for this game is for Kansas to go over on their total points against the Miami Hurricanes. Kansas can light up the scoreboard at will and I expect nothing less from them in this game as they look to keep the number one seeds alive. Kansas has looked great in their first three tournament games after taking out two really good Big East schools in Creighton and Providence. Now I think they will end the Miami Hurricanes Cinderella run with a dominant offensive performance.

My second pick for this game is a Kansas Jayhawks win. Kansas has been to the mountaintop of college basketball several times, but it has been a long time since they’ve won the NCAA tournament. This year just feels different and they are my current favorites to win the national title this year. I don’t expect this one to be close at all as I think Kansas will pull away and register another big win en route to what could be another national championship winning season.

Saint Peters @ North Carolina – 5:05pm ET

The real Cinderella run continues after three straight upsets over top teams in the NCAA tournament. Saint Peters has now beaten Kentucky, Murray State, and Purdue. Now the Tar Heels of North Carolina stand in their way as they will look to make history once again and become the first fifteen seed to make the Final Four. Meanwhile North Carolina is also on the doorstep of history as they could potentially set up a first time ever NCAA Tournament matchup with their most hated rivals the Duke Blue Devils if both teams win.

My first pick for this game is for Saint Peters superstar and tournament sensation Doug Edert. Edert and his facial hair have become world famous over the last couple of weeks, but outside of that he is still a great basketball player. That is why I am expecting another big game out of him in this one against North Carolina as Saint Peters looks to keep the magic alive.

My second pick for this game is going to be a disappointing one. This is the time that the clock finally strikes midnight on this miraculous run the Peacocks are one. North Carolina is just playing too well right now and a final four game with Duke is just something that fate can’t seem to resist. So while I expect Saint Peters to fight until the very final tick of the clock, I have North Carolina coming out this game with the win.
