North Carolina @ Kansas – 9:20pm ET

The men’s NCAA tournament national championship game is finally here and it will feature two of the blue bloods of the sport. As the North Carolina Tar Heels will face off with the Kansas Jayhawks is what could end up being an all time classic national championship game. North Carolina will be looking to win their second title in the last several years. While Kansas will be looking to win their first since 2008. 

My first pick for this game is for this game to go over its total points line. As both these teams can absolutely light up the scoreboard night in and night out. This could easily be a game that surpasses 150 total points between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Kansas Jayhawks. Both teams are coming off of Final Four victories where they scored a combined 162 points. Weirdly enough they both scored 81 points each against Duke and Villanova. 

My second pick for this game is a North Carolina Tar Heels victory over the Kansas Jayhawks. North Carolina has been playing great basketball all tournament long and that especially showed in their second round upset victory over the one seeded Baylor Bears. This is a game that is going to go down to the final whistle in my opinion. But in the end I think it will be the Tar Heels who add another national championship to their already storied legacy.
