My first pick for this game is for the Penn State Nittany, Lions quarterback, Drew Allar. He will be looking for a bounce back performance after his rough showing last weekend against Ohio State in a game where Penn State looked completely lethargic on the offensive side of the football. It will be necessary for him to put up a bounce back performance as they look to remain in the college football playoff race as well as the division title race in the Big Ten East after suffering their first loss of the season last week to Ohio State on the road in Columbus. That is exactly what I expect out of one of the best young quarterbacks in the country as I look for him to bounce back in a big way and go over his total touchdown passes against the Indiana Hoosiers here in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the tenth ranked team in the country, the Penn State Nittany Lions to grab the victory over the Indiana Hoosiers here on Saturday afternoon at home. Penn State will be looking for a solid, bounce back performance here on Saturday afternoon at home after losing to Ohio State last weekend and that is exactly what I expect out of them here on Saturday against Indiana. As I look for them to impose their will against the Indiana Hoosiers and pick up a quality victory as they look to keep themselves in the Big Ten title race, as well as the college football playoff heading into the final five weeks of the regular season. I expect Penn State to grab a comfortable victory and cover the spread in the process against Indiana.

Pittsburgh @ #14 Notre Dame – 3:30PM ET
My first pick for this game is the Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback, Sam Hartman. He has been putting up gutsy performances for Notre Dame all season long, and he will be looking to keep it rolling here on Saturday afternoon at home against Pittsburgh. He put up solid numbers in their victory over USC two weeks ago and they will be looking to come out of the firing and Hartman will likely be the leading catalyst behind their performance this Saturday against Pittsburgh as well. I expect Sam Hartman to put up quality numbers in this game against a familiar opponent and for him to go over his total touchdown passes as Notre Dame looks to remain in the hunt for a New Year’s Six bowl this season.
My second pick for this game is for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to pick up the victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers here on Saturday afternoon at Notre Dame Stadium. Notre Dame is coming off of their week and they have plenty of momentum after their victory over their hated rivals USC two weeks ago and they will be looking to parlay that momentum into another victory here on Saturday. They are still in recovery mode from their loss to Louisville three weeks ago and despite them likely being out of the playoff conversation, there is still a New Year’s Six bowl for them to play for coming down the final stretch of the season. I expect them to put up a dominating performance against Pittsburgh and cover the spread in the process of grabbing a comfortable victory here on Saturday afternoon.

#24 USC @ California – 4PM ET
My first pick for this game is for last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, and the USC quarterback Caleb Williams. He has been having a couple of rough weeks with back-to-back losses against Notre Dame and Utah, and he will be looking to put on a showcase performance here against California on Saturday afternoon. His stock in the Heisman race has dipped a little bit as he is in search of his second consecutive Heisman Trophy this season, and he will be looking to get back on track with a quality performance against California on the road in Berkeley. I expect him to put up some more video game like numbers here on Saturday afternoon as USC looks to get back into the win column and I look for Caleb Williams to go over his total touchdown passes in this game to lead them there.
My second pick for this game is for the USC Trojans to pick up the victory over the California Golden Bears here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Berkeley. It has been a couple of tough weeks for USC as they have suffered back to back losses and essentially eliminated themselves from the college football playoff conversation. However, luckily, for the Trojans only one of those losses came inside of conference play, which still keeps them in the running for the Pac-12 title game, and just a few weeks, but they will have to win out with the remainder of their Pac-12 schedule if they want to get there because they have to pass up teams like Washington, Utah, and Oregon to get one of the top two spots in the conference standings. I expect USC to get off to a solid start of this game and pick up a comfortable victory while covering the spread in the process against California on Saturday.

#5 Washington @ Stanford – 7PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Washington Huskies quarterback, Michael Penix. Heading into last week. He was arguably considered the Heisman Trophy front runner, but he put up a disappointing performance in their ugly victory against Arizona State. He will have to reinsert himself in the front runner conversation with a quality performance here on Saturday night on the road against Stanford as he tries to keep the Washington Huskies undefeated here in week number nine of the season. He has been putting up fantastic numbers each and every week throughout the year and I expect more of the same from him here in this one as I look for him to go over his total touchdown passes against Stanford on Saturday night.
My second pick for this game is for the fifth ranked team in the country, the Washington Huskies to pick up the victory over Stanford here on Saturday night on the road. Washington is off to a fantastic start this season as they are undefeated through the first eight weeks of the year and despite having an ugly performance against Arizona State last weekend they were still able to pick up the victory. Now they will be looking to reestablish themselves as a powerhouse in the conference with another conference victory, and remain in the college football playoff conversation as well as undefeated through the first nine weeks of the season with another victory here on Saturday. It is exactly what I expect out of Washington as I look for them to pick up a comfortable victory over Stanford and cover the spread on the road in the process.

#17 North Carolina @ Georgia Tech – 8PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Drake Maye. He will be looking to bounce back after a less than great performance last weekend in their loss to Virginia. He only completed half of his passes and he threw an interception despite having over 300 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. He will be looking to bounce back and lead North Carolina to a bounce back victory after they suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, and I expect him to do just that here on Saturday night against Georgia Tech. As I look for him to go over his total touchdown passes here in week number nine of the season, as North Carolina looks to reestablish themselves as a potential playoff contender with a victory here in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the North Carolina Tar Heels to pick up the victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets here on Saturday night on the road in Atlanta. North Carolina was off to a fantastic start this season as they were undefeated coming into their game last week against Virginia and unfortunately everything fell apart for them last weekend in that game. They suffered their first loss of the season and they have to win out the remainder of the year if they want to compete for a spot in the national championship game and they playoff spot as well as a spot in the ACC conference title game as there are several contenders in the conference that they will not play this season and they could get left out due to tiebreaker rules. I expect them to put up a better performance in this game and pick up the victory as well as cover the spread in the process.
