My first pick for this game is for the Penn State quarterback, Drew Allar. Throughout the first two games of the season he has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country and I look for him to shine when they start conference play here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Illinois. As I look for Drew Allar to have yet another incredible game as he looks to help continue Penn State’s undefeated season with another victory here on Saturday afternoon against their conference opponents. I look for his performance to heavily impact the outcome of this game, and for Drew Allar to go over his total touchdown passes here in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the Penn State Nittany Lions to pick up the victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Champaign. Penn State has looked incredible throughout their first two games of the season and they truly do look like the number seven ranked team in the country. They will be looking to pick up their third consecutive victory on the year and their first conference victory of the season as well here on Saturday afternoon. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Penn State to run away with this game and cover the spread in the process.

Central Michigan @ #9 Notre Dame – 2:30PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Notre Dame quarterback, Sam Hartman. His Notre Dame football career is off to a fantastic start and although he had some struggles against North Carolina State last week, he still made some big plays when Notre Dame needed it, and led them to a victory. I expect him to have another quality start here in this game against Central Michigan on Saturday afternoon at home as Notre Dame looks to pick up their fourth victory of the season and cement themselves as a definitive top 10 team in the country. That is why I expect Sam Hartman to go over his total touchdown passes here on Saturday afternoon against Central Michigan.
My second pick for this game is for the ninth ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish to pick up the victory over the Central Michigan Chippewas here on Saturday afternoon in South Bend. Notre Dame has gotten this season after a fantastic start with a pair of blowout wins in a gritty victory over North Carolina State last weekend that looks a little bit closer than the lopsided score would indicate. Regardless, this Notre Dame team did something that past Notre Dame teams wouldn’t have done it on and that is not folding under pressure. I expect Notre Dame to return to the norm and pick up a blowout victory over Central Michigan here on Saturday afternoon to pick up their fourth victory of the season.

Minnesota @ #20 North Carolina – 3:30PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the North Carolina quarterback, Drake Maye. He is highly regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the country this season, and he will be looking to deliver another quality performance here on Saturday afternoon at home against Minnesota. He has led North Carolina to an undefeated record and a pair of victories over South Carolina and Appalachian State to open up the season. I expect him to have another quality performance here on Saturday at home against Minnesota and for Drake Maye to go over his total touchdown passes as North Carolina looks to pick up their third victory of the season.
My second pick for this game is for the nationally ranked North Carolina Tar Heels to pick up the victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers here on Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill. I expect this to be yet another close ans competitive game for North Carolina but in the end, I look for their star quarterback to make some plays and put them over the top against a very respectable Minnesota team that will be competitive in the Big Ten West this season. As I look for North Carolina to pull away late in this one and cover the spread over the Golden Gophers here on Saturday afternoon to pick up their third victory of the year.

Western Kentucky @ #6 Ohio State – 4PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Ohio state wide receiver, Marvin Harrison. He is the son of legendary former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver, Marvin Harrison, and you can see that the traits have been passed down to the younger Marv as well. He is one of the best wide receivers in the country and he had a breakout performance last week after a slow start to the season in week one. I expect him to have another tremendous game here against Western Kentucky as Ohio State plays their final tuneup game before getting their first real test of the season next week against Notre Dame. I expect Marvin Harrison to score a touchdown here in this one on Saturday afternoon in Columbus.
My second pick for this game is for the sixth ranked Ohio State Buckeyes to pick up a comfortable victory over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers here on Saturday afternoon at home. Ohio State has looked sluggish throughout their first two games of the season against both Indiana, and at times FCS program Youngstown State. The Buckeyes will be looking to kick it into full gear here against Western Kentucky on Saturday afternoon and clean up some of those lingering mistakes that have troubled them throughout the first few weeks of the season. In the end, I expect Ohio State to cover the spread in this game on Saturday afternoon.

Wyoming @ #4 Texas – 8PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers. He had a fantastic performance against Alabama last weekend, and got his revenge for being knocked out of the game last year when he had Alabama beat as well. He will be looking to follow up that fantastic performance with another quality performance here on Saturday night at home against Wyoming. That is exactly what I expect for him, as he looks to further establish himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the country this season. As I look for him to go over his total touchdown passes here on Saturday evening at home, and lead Texas to their third victory of the season.
My second pick for this game is for the number four ranked team in the country, the Texas Longhorns to pick up the victory over the Wyoming Cowboys here on Saturday night at home. Texas made a statement with their victory over Alabama on the road in Tuscaloosa last weekend and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night when they return home to Darrell K Royal stadium to play the Wyoming Cowboys. Texas could potentially come out of the gates slow in this game after all the emotions from their victory last weekend, but in the end I look for the Longhorns to pick up a comfortable victory and cover the spread in the process.
