My second pick for this game is for the San Francisco Giants to pick up the win over Pittsburgh in game one of their three game weekend series in the Steel City. San Francisco is playing much better baseball at the moment and with a guy like Rodon on the mound, I don’t think the Pirates offense will be able to put up much of a fight in this game. Well, I expect the Giants offense to add a couple of runs to give her Dawn enough support to go out there and pitch comfortably early on in the game.

My second pick for this game is for the New York Mets to keep their strong season going and pick up a victory over their National League East division rival, the Miami Marlins. It’s fair to say that the Mets have been the best team in the National League so far this season and I don’t look for it to stop anytime soon as I look for a strong performance from Carrasco to be enough to leave the Mets to a victory at home in game one of the series.

San Diego Padres @ Colorado Rockies – 8:40PM ET
My first pick for this game is For the San Diego padres starting pitcher MacKenzie Gore. He is having a decent start to the 2022 major league baseball season as he has picked up for victories in the first 10 appearances of the year. He is striking out batters at will. As he is averaging around six per appearance, that is why I have him going over his total strikeouts in this one against a struggling Rockies lineup.

My second pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres to pick up the victory in game one of the three game weekend series against the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies did not have a good time during the middle of the week as they were swept by the Cleveland Guardians and they are in a bit of a slump at the moment. Well, I don’t expect it to get much better for Colorado this weekend either as I think all this will be the first win of three that the Padres will get in the series.

Minnesota Twins @ Arizona Diamondbacks – 9:40PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Devin Smeltzer. He is having a great start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season as he comes into this game undefeated with three victories in his first six appearances of the year. I have him picking up his fourth victory of the season and this one as the Twins are playing great baseball right now and likely will keep it rolling.

My second pick for this game is for the Minnesota Twins to pick up the victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks and game one of their three game weekend series on Friday night. As I previously said Minnesota is playing pretty good baseball right now while Arizona is towards the bottom of the standings. I look for Smeltzer to add another great performance to his résumé for the season and guide the Twins to a victory to continue to hold their lead in the American League Central.
