As the Tampa Bay Rays are playing much better baseball at the moment and I think it will show in this game and over the course of the entire series. As I think a strong performance from Corey Kluber against a familiar team will help push them over the top in this one.

My first pick for this game is for the Miami Marlins starting pitcher, Sandy Alcantara. My second pick for this game is for the Miami Marlins to get the win over the Washington Nationals in their series opener on Monday. I think Alcantara will be the key in this one as he has already made one start against the Washington Nationals earlier this year. It was a great start for him as he went six innings and only gave up a single run. He would grab one of his two wins on the season in that one as he added five strikeouts as well.

My first pick for this game is for the New York Yankees starting pitcher, Luis Severino. My second pick for this game is for the New York Yankees to get the win over the Baltimore Orioles in their series opener on Monday. The Yankees have looked like one of the best teams in Major League Baseball throughout the first month of the 2022 season. Add that to the fact that Severino has already pitched against the Orioles this year, going six innings and getting the win. Which means he is familiar with the lineup and should have no problem shutting them down while the Yankees offense does what they do and score runs.

St.Louis Cardinals @ New York Mets – 7:10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the St.Louis Cardinals starting pitcher, Mike Mikolas. My second pick for this game is for the St.Louis Cardinals to get the win over the New York Mets in their series opener on Monday. Both of these teams are having great starts to the 2022 Major League Baseball season. This will also be Mikolas second start against the Mets and the last time he pitched a great game going seven innings and allowing zero runs in what ended up being a no decision. I expect more of the same from him in this one to help lead the Cardinals to victory.

My first pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher, Tony Gonsolin. My second pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Dodgers to get the win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in their series opener on Monday. I look for this one to be a pitchers duel between Madison Bumgarner and Tony Gonsolin. However, at some point offenses will have to show up and when comparing the two it’s clear that the Los Angeles Dodgers have the more powerful offense in this one. I think that is what is going to be the deciding factor in this one.
