My first pick for this game is for the Miami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez. After tons of rumors that he was going to be traded at the deadline he was retained. Now he will make his start since then and he will be out to show Miami why they were right to hold onto him in the first place. He is having a solid season thus far as he comes into this game with seven victories in his first 21 appearances on the year.
My second pick for this game is for the Miami Marlins to pick up the victory over the Chicago Cubs in game two of their three game series. The Cubs got an upset win on Friday evening so the Marlins will certainly be looking to even up the series here on Saturday afternoon. With Lopez on the mound I expect them to do just that. As I look for him to go deep into the ballgame and pitch Miami to a win.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Detroit Tigers – 6:10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Shane McClanahan. He is putting together an incredible regular season as he has won ten out of his first twenty starts on the season. He is also sitting down batters at a premium as he has accounted for 158 strikeouts in those twenty appearances. As he is averaging nearly eight per appearance, that is why I have him going over his total strikeouts in this game.
My second pick for this game is for the Tampa Bay Rays to pick up the victory over the Detroit Tigers in this game. The Rays have their ace and 2022 all star starter on the mound and should easily control the pace of this game as well. They already won game one of this series and have won their last three in a row as well so they have a ton of momentum built up.

San Francisco Giants @ Oakland Athletics – 7:07PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Carlos Rodon. He comes into this start still on the Giants after trade rumors swirled around the deadline. He currently has a record of 9-6 on the season after making 21 appearances this season. He is racking up strikeouts as he has totaled 158 of them for an average of seven and a half per appearance. I have him going over his total strikeouts in this game.
My second pick for this game is for the San Francisco Giants to pick up the victory over their Bay Area rivals, the Oakland Athletics. The Giants and Athletics are both caught in some serious slumps at the moment but I have to give the San Francisco Giants the advantage in this game with their ace on the mound for them. As I look for Rodon to lead the San Francisco Giants to a much needed win.

Colorado Rockies @ Arizona Diamondbacks – 8:10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly. It has been a solid season for him as he has picked up ten victories through his first 21 appearances on the season. He has logged 125 innings pitched this season as he is averaging around six innings pitched per appearance on the year. I think he will go deep into this ballgame.
My second pick for this game is for the Arizona Diamondbacks to pick up the victory over the Colorado Rockies. With Kelly on the mound the Diamondbacks should have the clear advantage in this game. He has been dominant all season long and I expect that to continue in this game.

My first pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres to go over the total run line in this ballgame. Both of these teams have some powerful offenses and I expect it to be on full display in this game as I could easily see them finding their way into the double digits combined.
