He is not off to the best start this season, but he is a perfect opportunity to get things back on the right track in this start against the Cleveland Guardians. When he is playing at his best, there is no doubt that Max Scherzer is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball. My first pick for this game is for the Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Eric Lauer. He is off to a fantastic start this season, and he will be looking to add to that start with another victory over the Milwaukee Brewers here on Saturday afternoon at home. He comes into this game with a record of 5-1 and he will be looking to grab his sixth victory of the season in this one. I look for him to go deep into this ballgame to try and help the Tampa Bay Rays clinch this series and set up the potential for a three game weekend sweep in Sunday’s finale.
