My first pick for this game is for the Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Bryce Miller. He comes into the finale of this four game weekend series with eight victories to his name on the season. He will be looking to pick up his ninth victory of the year and help Seattle pick up a huge win here on Sunday afternoon on the road and Tampa Bay. His rookie year has been a solid one, and he will be looking to finish it off strong as he’s getting down to his final few starts of his first regular season in the major leagues. I expect him to have a quality performance against a struggling Tampa Bay team as I look for Bryce Miller to go over his total outs here on Sunday afternoon on the road at Tropicana Field.
My second pick for this game is for the Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher, Zach Eflin. For the majority of the season, he provided the perfect complement to Shane McClanahan, but now that Shane McClanahan is out for the season Zach Eflin has to step up and be the main man for this Tampa Bay rotation. He will be looking to do exactly that here in this game on Sunday afternoon as he looks to lead Tampa Bay to a much-needed victory in the finale of this four game weekend series. Eflin comes into this game with thirteen victories to his name on the season and I expect him to go over his total outs as he looks to pick up his fourteenth victory of the season here in this game.

Milwaukee Brewers @ New York Yankees – 1:35PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the former National League Cy Young award winner Corbin Burnes. He will get the baseball for Milwaukee in the finale of this three game interleague series against the New York Yankees on Sunday afternoon in the Bronx. When he steps on the mound, he will be looking to help the Milwaukee Brewers pick up a much-needed victory as they look to keep their distance between themselves in the Chicago Cubs in the National League Central division. He has been racking up strikeouts all season long, and I expect that to continue in the finale of this series against the Yankees lineup that has been struggling to hit baseball as of late.
My second pick for this game is for the New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole. As of right now he is likely one of the two finalists to win the American League Cy Young award this season, and he will be looking to further cement his case with a quality performance against the Milwaukee Brewers here on Sunday afternoon at home. Gerrit Cole comes into the finale of the series with thirteen victories to his name on the season and he will be looking to pick up his fourteenth victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon at home. I expect him to have a quality performance in this game and go over his total strikeouts against the Milwaukee Brewers to wrap up the series.

New York Mets @ Minnesota Twins – 2:10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez. Minnesota traded away Luis Arraez over the off-season to bring in Pablo Lopez, and so far the results have been less than desirable. Although he has been consistent, Luis Arraez has been having incredible production in Miami, which has forced Lopez to be nearly immaculate at times this season. He could go a long way in furthering the case for Minnesota’s reasoning to make the trade by delivering a quality performance in the finale of this series against the New York Mets on Sunday afternoon. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Pablo López to go over his total strikeouts here on Sunday afternoon as Minnesota looks to sweep the Mets.
My second pick for this game is for the Minnesota Twins to pick up the victory over the New York Mets in the finale of their three game interleague series here on Sunday afternoon at home. The first two games of this series have been all Minnesota and they will be looking to continue that trend here on Sunday as they look to take yet another game from New York and move one step closer to locking up the American League Central division coming down the final stretch of the season. With Pablo Lopez getting the baseball for the finale of the series it gives Minnesota a huge advantage in the pitching matchup and I expect them to exploit that advantage and pick up the victory here in this one.

Oakland Athletics @ Texas Rangers – 2:35PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray. He had a quality start to the 2023 regular season but his numbers have dipped a bit as the months have gone on. He will be looking to get things back on track in the finale of this series against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday afternoon at home. He will be going up against one of the worst lineups in all of Major League Baseball this season, and I expect him to take advantage of that, and deliver a quality performance in what feels like a must win game for the Texas Rangers. That is why I expect him to go over his total strikeouts here on Sunday afternoon against Oakland, as he looks to pitch Texas to a victory.
My second pick for this game is for the Texas Rangers to pick up the victory over the Oakland Athletics in the finale of this series on Sunday afternoon at home. With Jon Gray getting the ball for the finale of the series, I think it gives Texas a huge advantage in the pitching matchup here on Sunday. I expect them to exploit that advantage to the fullest extent and pick up a much-needed victory as they look to get themselves back in the running for playoff contention in the American League. They had an incredible first half of the season, but the train has slightly come off the tracks over the last month or so, and they will need a victory like this to get things rolling in the right direction once again.

My first pick for this game is for the Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher Tanner Bibee. There haven’t been many bright spots for Cleveland this season, but Tanner Bibee is certainly one of those few bright spots that has happened for the Guardians this year. Despite only being a rookie this season, he had a quality year and he will be looking to add another solid performance to his résumé in the finale of this four game weekend series against the Los Angeles Angels. He has been racking up strikeouts all season long, and he has already shown potential when it comes to being the future ace of this rotation. I expect him to have a great performance here in this game on Sunday and go over his total strikeouts to wrap up the series.
