I look for Blackburn to lead the way with a dominant performance off of the mound and for the Athletics offense to give him some run support as well.

My first pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres starting pitcher Joe Musgrove. My second pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres to pick up the victory over the Chicago Cubs and to cover the spread in the process. The Padres are averaging over 10 runs a game throughout the first three games of this four game series that concludes on Thursday. I think they will easily keep that up and win by more than enough to cover the run line over the Cubs here today.

My first pick for this game is for the Texas Rangers starting pitcher Martin Perez. He is averaging over six innings pitched every time he steps on the mound and then this one I have him going over his total outs recorded against the Tigers.

My second pick for this game is For the Texas Rangers to bounce back from their rough series with the Houston Astros and pick up the win in game one of the four-game series against Detroit. The Rangers are a much better ball club at this point of the year than the Tigers and I think it will show on the field and on the scoreboard as I look for Perez to lock down the Tigers offense.
