My second pick for this game is for the New York Yankees to get the win over the Baltimore Orioles in the finale of their four game weekday series. This will be Montgomery’s third start against the Baltimore Orioles this season as he is getting very comfortable with facing their lineup. In two previous starts his total numbers have been 10 and two thirds innings pitched, seven hits allowed, and only two runs allowed, while netting six total punch outs. I think that will play into the result of this game as I think he will shut down the Orioles offense once again.

My first pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres starting pitcher, Yu Darvish. He comes into this start having made seven prior appearances in the 2022 Major League Baseball season. My second pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres to get the win over the Philadelphia Phillies in this finale of their three game series. The Padres are clearly the more talented team this season I think that will show on the field and on the scoreboard as well. They opened up the series with a 3-0 win and I think they wrap it up with another victory before moving on to their weekend series to wrap up the third week of May.

My second pick for this game is for the New York Mets to get the win over the St.Louis Cardinals in this finale of their four game series. This is the second and last time these two National League teams will meet in this year’s regular season and the Mets will be looking to finish it off with a bang as they currently lead the season series three games to two heading into Thursday’s finale. Both of these teams are playing decent baseball at the moment and there is a chance we could see them face off again in the postseason.

This has been a unique five game series thanks to a double header on Tuesday. I have the White Sox finishing it off strong and taking the series victory here in this one with a strong performance from their offense and Velasquez on the mound.
