The White Sox and Royals are both struggling this season but the White Sox should still have the upper hand in this one. With Dylan Cease on the mound they should cruise through this one. In his first appearance of the season against the Kansas City Royals, Cease went six innings and gave up only two runs.

With the Diamondbacks having Kelly on the mound for game two, it likely pushes the Dodgers focus towards game one and a likely split for this day and night doubleheader.

I look for the Guardians to grab the win over the Reds in this one as they did earlier in the season when they swept the Reds. They like to hit against the Reds and that showed when they scored 17 runs in two previous games against Cincinnati. I think that will continue in these next two games.

My second pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Angels to get the win over the Texas Rangers. They are playing better baseball at the moment and I think it will show on the field and on the scoreboard as well. I think a strong performance from the Los Angeles Angels offense and Detmers on the mound will be enough to get the Angels over the top in this one.

I think having Kelly on the mound will put them over the top in this one in game two as I expect them and the Los Angeles Dodgers to split this day and night doubleheader.
