Pittsburgh Pirates @ Detroit Tigers – 1:10PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the Pittsburgh Pirates Bryan Reynolds. He has been playing well throughout the early part of the season and I expect that to continue in the second game of this series against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. Reynolds had a rough start in the opening game of the series as they arguably faced the Tigers, best pitcher in Michael Lorenzen. He went zero for four with three strikeouts but I expect him to bounce back here in game number two of the series on Wednesday night. That is why I have Bryan Reynolds going over his total hits here on Wednesday night as Pittsburgh looks to even up the series

My second pick for this game is for the Pittsburgh Pirates to pick up the victory over the Detroit Tigers in this game on Wednesday evening. The Pirates were unable to pick up the victory in the opening game of the series but I’ll look for them to bounce back in game number two and even up the series against the Detroit Tigers before heading into Thursdays finale. With the way the Pirates have performed this season I just can’t see them losing two consecutive games to the Detroit Tigers who have struggled this year. I look for Bryan Reynolds, and the rest of the offense to bounce back in this one and lead Pittsburgh to a victory.

New York Yankees @ Toronto Blue Jays – 7:07PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerit Cole. He has looked absolutely incredible this season, and he is a prime contender to win the American League Cy Young award at the end of the year if he keeps it up. He comes into the start undefeated, and he will be looking to pick up yet another victory this season against their American League East divisional rivals, the Toronto Blue Jays. Cole comes into this start averaging around six innings pitched and seven strikeouts per appearance this season. I have him going over his total outs in this start on Wednesday evening.

My second pick for this game is for the Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Chris Bassitt. He is off to a solid start to the season, and he will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in game number three of the series against the New York Yankees on Wednesday night. Not only will he be looking to get himself a victory, he will also be looking to help get Toronto their first victory of the series and keep their hopes alive for a four-game series split as well. Bassitt comes into this start averaging around six innings pitched and seven strikeouts per appearance this season. I have him going over his total outs in this start on Wednesday evening.

Milwaukee Brewers @ St.Louis Cardinals – 7:45PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the former National League Cy Young award winner of the Milwaukee Brewers, Corbin Burnes. He is having a bit of a shaky start to the season as he doesn’t really look like himself, but I expect him to come out in this game and have a quality start against the St. Louis Cardinals on the road. He comes into this game looking to pick up his fifth victory of the season and help Milwaukee get a much-needed victory over St. Louis as well. He is currently averaging around five and a half innings pitched per appearance and I expect him to go over his total outs in this start on Wednesday night.

My second pick for this game is for the Milwaukee Brewers to pick up the victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in this game on Wednesday night at Busch Stadium. Milwaukee picked up the victory in Tuesday night’s game and the winner of this one here on Wednesday will officially take two out of three games and the series as well. With Corbin Burnes, making the start for Milwaukee and Matthew Liberatore, making the start for St. Louis I think the Milwaukee Brewers have the pitching advantage of this matchup as Libertore will be making his first start of the season. I expect Burnes to lead Milwaukee to a comfortable victory here on Wednesday evening.

Atlanta Braves @ Texas Rangers – 8:05PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider. He is off to a solid start this season, and I expect that to continue here in this game against the Texas Rangers on Wednesday evening. He currently has a 4-1 record

on the season and his Earned Run Average is currently sitting in the mid twos at the moment. He comes into this game looking to pick up his fifth victory of the season and help the Atlanta Braves wrap up the series with a victory as well. Strider is currently averaging around six innings pitched per appearance and I expect him to go over his total outs in this game on Wednesday night.

My second pick for this game is for the Texas Rangers starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi. He is having a solid start to the season this year and he will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this game against the Atlanta Braves. He comes into this game with a record of 5-2 on the season and he will be looking to grab his sixth victory of the year here on Wednesday evening. Eovaldi comes into this game averaging around six and a half innings pitched per appearance this season and I have him going over his total outs in this game.

Chicago Cubs @ Houston Astros – 8:10PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the Chicago Cubs starting pitcher, Drew Smyly. He is off to a solid start this season, and he will be looking to pick up his fifth victory of the season against the defending World Series champions. He will be looking to lower his Earned Run Average which currently said slightly above three heading into the start. He comes into this game averaging around five and a half innings pitched per appearance and I expect him to go over his total outs in this game on Wednesday night.

My second pick for this game is for the Chicago Cubs to pick up the victory over the Houston Astros in their game on Wednesday night at Minute Maid Park. The Cubs have failed to pick up a victory throughout the first two games of this series and now they will be looking to grab a victory in the finale to avoid being swept. With the way Drew Smyly has been pitching this season, that is exactly what I expect as I look for the Chicago Cubs to grab the win over the Houston Astros to close out this three-game series on Wednesday night.
