Denver Nuggets @ Charlotte Hornets – 7pm ET

My first pick for this game is the reigning and defending Most Valuable Player of the year, Nikola Jokic. Jokic is on pace to win his second straight Most Valuable Player award and if he does he would become the second player in a row to win two consecutive MVP awards. Jokic has been putting up monster numbers all season long as he is averaging 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists a game. I expect another big game out of Jokic in this one as the Nuggets are in the thick of a division title race.

My second pick for this game is the Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball. Ball is one of the few players who haven’t hit a sophomore wall in his second season in the league. The former rookie of the year award winner has put up decent numbers this season and he has the Hornets currently in the playoff play-in round with less than 10 games left in the regular season. He is averaging around 20 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists a game this season. I expect another decent performance out of him in this game.

Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 7pm ET

The Orlando Magic are having a disappointing season. The one bright spot they do have is the fact that they may have found their franchise cornerstone in Cole Anthony. However, they are still a few years away from being a real contender. As for the Cleveland Cavaliers they are years ahead of their rebuild as they look to be a playoff team this season. It could be a good game between two young stars in Anthony and Garland or it could turn into a Cavaliers run away.

My first pick for this game is Cleveland Cavaliers all star Darius Garland. Garland has been having a breakout season this season and he has this Cavaliers team way ahead of their rebuild schedule. I’m expecting Garland to have another big game in this one as he tries to get the Cavaliers back out of the playoff play-in round and back into sixth place in the Eastern Conference. He has been great both scoring and passing the basketball this season and I have him going over his total points + assists in this game.

My second pick for this game is a Cleveland Cavaliers victory over the Orlando Magic. The Cavs were having a fantastic season, until the injury bug caught up to them. It has derailed them a bit and now they come into this game in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. I look for the Cleveland Cavaliers to get back on track in this one with a victory over the Orlando Magic at home. They have fought way too hard this season to end up being one and done in the playoffs in my opinion.

Atlanta Hawks @ Indiana Pacers – 7pm ET

Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks travel to Indiana for this must win game for their fading playoff hopes. While the Indiana Pacers will look to play spoilers and prove why they could be a team to be scared of in the future. The Hawks come into this game with a record of 37-37 on the season, while the Pacers enter this game with a record of 25-50 and are already eliminated from the playoffs.

My first pick for this game is Atlanta Hawks superstar point guard Trae Young. Young has been the main star for this team for a few years now and he is having another big year this season. He is putting up big numbers and he will need to be even more clutch down the stretch to keep the Atlanta Hawks in the playoff play-in round. Young is averaging 28 points and nine assists this season. I look for him to light up the scoreboard again in this must win game against the Indiana Pacers.

My second pick for this game is Tyrese Halliburton. Since coming to Indiana Halliburton has been playing very well and he is certainly going to be a piece to build around in the future for the Indiana Pacers. I look for Halliburton to put up decent numbers again in this one against the Atlanta Hawks at home. However, I don’t think he will score a ton of points because I look for him to contribute passing the basketball as I look for the assists to pile up for Halliburton in this one.

Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks – 7:30pm ET

The Chicago Bulls spent the majority of the season towards the top of the Eastern Conference but have since fallen back towards the middle of the pack into fifth place. Now they will look to end the regular season on a strong note and give themselves some momentum heading into the NBA playoffs. Meanwhile the New York Knicks have once again been a disappointment this season. As they are 5.5 games out of the last play in spot with 7 games left in the regular season.

My first pick for this game is the Chicago Bulls Zach LaVine. LaVine has been putting up great numbers this season and is one of the main reasons why the Bulls have been successful for the majority of the season. They have been slipping slightly as of late and I think LaVine will be the guy to turn it around in this one. In the Bulls last game LaVine put up 25 points in a four point win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. I look for a repeat performance from LaVine in this game against the New York Knicks.

My second pick for this game is DeMar DeRozan as I think he and LaVine will both put up big numbers in this one as they try to get the Chicago Bulls another much needed victory as the regular season comes to a close. The Bulls are going to be a serious threat in the NBA playoffs in my opinion, that is as long as they stay healthy down the stretch. In the Chicago Bulls last game DeRozan put up 20 points and I’m also expecting a repeat performance out of him in this game.

Boston Celtics @ Toronto Raptors – 7:30pm ET

Both the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors are likely going to make the playoffs this season and could even potentially meet in the postseason. This Atlantic division matchup is going be huge for playoff implications as the regular season is winding down.

My first pick for this game is the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum. Tatum has been the cornerstone piece for the Boston Celtics over the last few seasons. He has been putting up big numbers all season long and I expect more from him in this all important game against the Toronto Raptors. Tatum put on a spectacular performance in the Celtics last game as he went for 34 points in a 134-112 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. I look for another 30+ point performance from Tatum in this one.

My second pick for this game is Toronto Raptors big man Pascal Siakam. In one of Toronto’s recent games against the Cleveland Cavaliers he put up incredible numbers, scoring 35 points in what was essentially a must win game for the Raptors against the Cavs. I expect another big game from Siakam in this one as the Raptors will pretty much be in must win mode for the remainder of the regular season.
