However, they are looking at a brighter future after some big trades before this season’s trade deadline. Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors are right in the mix for an NBA Playoff spot. As they currently find themselves sitting in 7th place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 41-32. After getting a huge win over the Cleveland Cavaliers the other night they are in an even better position.

My first pick for this game is the Pacers Tyrese Halliburton. Since coming to Indiana earlier this season Halliburton has been playing well and has been one of the few bright spots for the Indiana Pacers in the midst of a very rough season. Despite a couple of rough games the last few times he was on the court, I’m still expecting Halliburton to have a big performance in this game against the Toronto Raptors. That is why I’m taking Halliburton to go over his points total in this one.
My second pick for this game is a Toronto Raptors win over the Indiana Pacers. The Raptors are coming off of a massive victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last game that pulled them even with the 6th seeded Cavs in the Eastern Conference. Which puts them one step closer to escaping the playoff play-in round and guaranteeing themselves a first round playoff series. The Raptors are the better team in this one, both on paper and on the court. While I’m expecting Halliburton to put up big numbers I still don’t think it will be enough to stop a Raptors win.

Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 8pm ET
Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference and Central division will face off in this game. As the Chicago Bulls meet the Cleveland Cavaliers in a huge game with massive playoff implications on Saturday night. The Chicago Bulls come into this game led by Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan while the Cavs have some stars of their own in Darius Garland and Caris LeVert. The Bulls come into this game with a record of 42-31 while the Cavs come into this one with a 41-32 record.

My first pick for this game is the Cavs all star shooting guard Darius Garland. He has been the biggest reason for all the Cleveland Cavaliers surprising success this season. Garland has been explosive on the offensive end putting up great scoring and assisting numbers all season long. Even as injuries have caught up to the Cavaliers this season Garland has stayed consistent and that is why I am expecting another big game from him in this one as Cleveland is desperate for some victories down the stretch.
My second pick for this game is Zach LaVine, as much like Garland for the Cleveland Cavaliers, LaVine has been the top piece for the Chicago Bulls this season alongside DeMar DeRozan. That is why I am expecting a big game out of LaVine to help out this struggling Chicago Bulls team that spent most of the season towards the top of the Eastern Conference but now find themselves in fifth place. Expect this game to be a shootout that comes down to the very end and whoever has the ball last to win.

Brooklyn Nets @ Miami Heat – 8pm ET
The Brooklyn Nets have been a huge disappointment this season when you consider just how good they should have been. Brooklyn comes into this game with a record of 38-35 as they are holding onto a play-in spot in the NBA playoffs right now. It has been the Kevin Durant show for the majority of the season as Kyrie Irving and now Ben Simmons have been severely limited. The Miami Heat are the best team in the Eastern Conference this season and are a top contender to win a ring this season.

My first pick for this game is the Brooklyn Nets part-time superstar Kyrie Irving. With Irving soon to be available full time it will be interesting to see how much the Brooklyn Nets improve from now until the start of the NBA Playoffs. Everytime Irving steps on to the floor he is a must watch, regardless of the situation and this season has been quite a unique situation. He has put up massive numbers several times this season and I expect more of the same in this game.
My second pick for this game is for Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat. As I have said many times, Butler is one of the best two-way players in the National Basketball Association as his defensive and offensive game are both top tier, especially this season for Miami. As he has the Miami Heat positioned as the top team in the Eastern Conference at the moment. I look for this to be the best game of the Saturday slate as the Brooklyn Nets with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving meet Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Memphis Grizzlies – 8pm ET
The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to repeat as NBA champions this season after beating the Phoenix Suns in last year’s finals. They come into this game with a record of 46-27 on the season as they are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference. They are only a half game behind Miami for first place with nine regular season games to go. The Memphis Grizzlies are coming into this game with a record of 51-23 on the season. That currently puts them in second place in the Western Conference.

My first pick for this game is the Greek Freak and former two time Most Valuable Player award winner Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis went from being severely underrated as part of his draft class to perhaps the best player in the National Basketball Association over the past few seasons. I expect Giannis to put up a big performance in this game as he tries to move the Milwaukee Bucks past the Miami Heat for first place in the Eastern Conference as they are only a half game behind them at the moment.
My second pick for this game is a Milwaukee Bucks victory as the Memphis Grizzlies will still be without their superstar point guard Ja Morant. Morant has missed the last several games for the Grizzlies due to injury but at this point with first place in the conference out of reach they may just decide to rest him until the playoffs. Without Morant this Grizzlies team just usually isn’t the same. They have won their last three games but now they are coming up against a fellow top team in the league and I don’t look for them to get the win in this one.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Denver Nuggets – 9pm ET
This one is going to get ugly quickly as one of the worst teams in the Western Conference and the entire National Basketball Association will be facing off with one of the best teams in the league. As the Oklahoma City Thunder will meet the Denver Nuggets in this game on Saturday night. The Thunder come into this game with a record of 21-52 and are officially eliminated from the playoffs. Meanwhile, Denver has a record of 43-31 on the season which puts them in 6th place in the Western Conference just outside of the play-in round.

My first pick for this game is the reigning and defending National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player award winner, Nikola Jokic. I look for Jokic to put up big numbers in limited minutes as I look for this game to end up being a blowout win for the Denver Nuggets over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jokic has been a dominant force all season long and I expect it to continue in this one as he looks to win his second straight Most Valuable Player award.
My second pick for this game is as previously mentioned a Denver Nuggets victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Denver has been one of the best teams in the league this season, and they are a dark horse to win the NBA Championship this season. On the other hand the Oklahoma City Thunder have been one of the worst teams in the league this season. So this one shouldn’t be close at all.
