Minnesota Timberwolves @ New Orleans Pelicans – 7pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards. The former number one overall draft pick is having an incredible season and he will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night on the road in New Orleans. He has an improved season after season, and he is breaking out into becoming a true superstar in this league so far this season, and he will be looking to maintain that pace with another quality game here in this one. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Minnesota Timberwolves throughout their first handful of games, and he will be looking to lead them to a victory on the road against New Orleans here on Saturday. He comes into this game averaging around 26 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and I look for him to go over his total points here on Saturday night on the road in New Orleans.
My second pick for this game is the New Orleans Pelicans big man, and the other former number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson. He has been dealing with injury issues throughout the early part of his career, but when he is healthy and on the court, he is dominant. He is healthy at the moment and he is putting up quality numbers throughout the early part of this regular season and he will be looking to continue doing so here on Saturday night at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Zion Williamson has been leading the way for New Orleans throughout the regular season as CJ McCollum, and Brandon Ingram have both missed time with injuries throughout November. I expect Zion Williamson to step up to the plate and leave the New Orleans Pelicans once again in this game on Saturday against Minnesota as they look for a solid early season victory. That is why I look for Zion Williamson to go over his total points in this game on Saturday night at home.

Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler. He put up an incredible performance in their previous game and he will be looking to replicate that performance here on Saturday night in the Windy City against the Chicago Bulls. Butler has been the force behind this Miami team since his arrival several years ago, and he has turned into an offensive juggernaut throughout his time in the league as well. He will be looking to record a quality performance in this game as Miami to keep the momentum rolling early on in the regular season, and he will be looking to follow up his 30+ point performance from Thursday night here in Chicago. He comes into this game as the third leading scorer on the team as he is just behind Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, with his 21 points per game average, but his recent performances is the reason Miami is red hot at the moment. I expect Jimmy Butler to have another quality performance and go over his total points here on Saturday night against Chicago.
My second pick for this game is for the Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine. He is arguably one of the best players in the league, and he is very similar to Jimmy Butler in that regard as he is a defensive specialist who has a quality offensive game as well. He will be looking to put up a quality performance as he looks to go bucket bucket with Jimmy Butler in the Miami Heat here on Saturday night at home as Chicago looks to get the momentum rolling early on this season. With DeMar DeRozan currently listed as a gametime decision for this contest on Saturday more responsibility could fall on the shoulders of Zach LaVine, and he is more than capable of stepping up to the plate and delivering for the Chicago Bulls. He comes into this game is the leading scorer for Chicago this season, as he averages around 22 points per game while shooting nearly 41% from the field. I looked for him to record another quality performance in this game on Saturday night at home as I looked for Zach LaVine to go over his total points against the Miami Heat.

Dallas Mavericks @ Milwaukee Bucks – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Dallas Mavericks Luka Dončić. He is putting up incredible numbers throughout the early part of the regular season and he will be looking to do so once more in this heavyweight clash on Saturday night in Milwaukee. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Dallas Mavericks and his points per game average puts him among the leagues leading throughout the early part of the year as well. Luka Dončić is an efficient scorer and he could drop 40+ points on you on almost any given night without breaking a sweat. I expect one of those types of performance is out of him in this heavyweight matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks here on Saturday, as Dallas looks to further establish themselves as a contender within the league. He comes into this game averaging around 31 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and I look for him to go over his total points here on Saturday night in Milwaukee against the Bucks.
My second pick for this game is for the Milwaukee Bucks Damian Lillard. He has been dealing with injuries throughout his early run with the Milwaukee Bucks but he is healthy and ready to go for this game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently listed as a gametime decision, and there is a potential that he could miss this one at home on Saturday so more responsibility will fall on the shoulders of Damian Lillard. He is more than capable of handling that responsibility as we saw many times throughout his career in Portland, and he will be looking to do so once again here on Saturday against Dallas. He comes into this game averaging 24 throughout the early part of the regular season, and he will be looking to record another quality performance here on Saturday night at home against Dallas and the second game of this back-to-back for Milwaukee. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Damian Lillard to go over his total points in this game on Saturday night.

Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Memphis Grizzlies Desmond Bane. He has stepped up in the absence of Ja Morant, and he will be looking to lead Memphis to a much-needed victory here on Saturday night in San Antonio as they look to continue life without Morant for the majority of this season. Despite the results, not coming on the scoreboard for Memphis Desmond Bane has shown that he could step up and lead a team which is a solid thing for the future of this Memphis franchise for the remainder of this season and into the next several seasons as well. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for Memphis throughout the early part of the regular season, and he will be looking for another quality performance here on Saturday night in San Antonio against the Spurs. He comes into this game averaging around 26 points per game, and with several key players expected to miss this one he will have an even bigger role on the offensive end of the court. I expect him to step up and go over his total points here on Saturday night in San Antonio.
My second pick for this game is for the former number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama. He has had some interesting games and a bit of a roller coaster experience throughout his first handful of NBA games this season. He is still adjusting to the league, and he has shown flashes of what he will do in the future as he has taken over games single-handedly throughout the year. He is putting up pretty good numbers so far this season, and he will be looking to record another quality performance here on Saturday night at home against Memphis as San Antonio looks for a much-needed victory. He comes into this game as the leader scorer for the San Antonio Spurs as he is averaging around nineteen points per game throughout the early part of the regular season. He comes into this game shooting sprung 43% from the field throughout the early part of the year as well and he will be looking to improve both of those numbers here on Saturday night at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors – 8:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous Alexander. He has been putting up incredible numbers throughout the early part of the regular season as he just continues to score 30 or more points a night without breaking a sweat. I expect more of the same in this game against the Golden State Warriors as these two teams will meet for the second consecutive time here on Saturday night in San Francisco. He comes into this game, averaging around 29 points per game on the season, which makes him the leading scorer for Oklahoma City and one of the leading scorers in the league throughout the early part of the year as well. This will be the third meeting of the season between these two teams, and in the previous two meetings, he put up a pair of fantastic performances against Golden State, and he will be looking to replicate that for a third consecutive time here on Saturday night in San Francisco. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Alexander to go over his total points on the road here on Saturday as Oklahoma City looks to continue their solid start to the regular season.
My second pick for this game is for the Golden State Warriors Klay Thompson. The second half of the splash brothers has been leading the way for Golden State throughout the last several games in the absence of Steph Curry. They will also be without Draymond Green in this game, as well as he continues to serve his suspension which means Klay Thompson will have even more responsibility in this game on Saturday night at home against Oklahoma City. He has had several major games against Oklahoma City throughout his career, so he is more than capable of stepping up to the plate and delivering when they need him to. He will be looking to help Golden State bounce back from their loss to Oklahoma City in their previous game as he looks to record a quality performance here at home against the Thunder. Thompson comes into this game averaging 14 points per game on the season but I look for him to surpass that number here in this game on Saturday night as I look for Klay Thompson to go over his total points against Oklahoma City at home.
