New York Knicks @ Brooklyn Nets – 1pm ET

The New York Knicks have been performing way below expectations this season. So have their New York City counterparts, the Brooklyn Nets. Both of these teams were viewed as potential NBA championship contenders before the season started, and now both teams are in danger of missing the postseason. As the Knicks come into this rivalry game with a record of 28-39, which has them sitting at 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets are currently 34-33 which has them sitting at 8th place in the Eastern Conference.

My first pick for this game is Kevin Durant. The future NBA Hall Of Famer and former Most Valuable Player award winner is a top-three player in the National Basketball Association. With the frequent absences of Kyrie Irving and James Harden, it has been solely on the shoulders of Kevin Durant to carry the Brooklyn Nets this season. This is why I expect more of the same in this rivalry game as Ben Simmons still has yet to get into the lineup and Kyrie Irving won’t be able to play due to COVID-19 vaccination restrictions. I’m taking Durant to go over his points total.

For my second pick, I’m going with a Brooklyn Nets victory in this game against the New York Knicks. Despite both of these teams being in the middle of underwhelming and disappointing seasons, it is still very clear that the Nets are the superior team in the Empire State. The Nets should get the victory in this one as they look to climb their way out of the play-in round. The last time these two teams played the Nets came out with a five-point victory and I expect more of the same in this game.

NBA Parlay Pick: Durant over Points & Nets Moneyline

Dallas Mavericks @ Boston Celtics – 3:30pm ET

The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics will meet in Boston on Sunday afternoon in what will be one of the most competitive and interesting games of the daily slate. As two of the best young superstars in the league will face off in Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum. Dallas comes into this game being led by a potential Most Valuable Player award winner in Luka Doncic. As they currently have a record of 41-26 as they are in fifth place in the Western Conference at the moment. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have a record of 41-27 and sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

My first pick for this game is Luka Doncic to go over his points total for this game as he will be called upon to put up a great performance if the Mavericks want to get the win in this one. Luka is a threat to score fifty points every single night he steps on the basketball court and this one isn’t going to be an exception for the young superstar. In the Mavs’ last game which was a 113-100 win over the Houston Rockets, Luka went for 30 points. I can easily see him tying or surpassing that total in this game against the Celtics in prime time.

My second pick for this game is the other superstar in this game to go over his points total as I’m taking Jayson Tatum to hit the over on his total points as well. Tatum has been one of the main pieces of the Celtics’ fantastic core over the last several years and in my opinion, is a top 15 player in the National Basketball Association. In the Celtics, last game Tatum put up good numbers and I expect more of the same in this primetime matchup as the Celtics will be looking to get as many wins as possible down the final stretch of the season.

NBA Parlay Pick: Doncic & Tatum over Points

Philadelphia 76ers @ Orlando Magic – 6pm ET

The Philadelphia 76ers have gone all-in on winning an NBA Championship this season. It became official when they dealt Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets for James Harden. Although Harden’s issue of showing up when the lights are brightest in the big games has already shown up in the city of brotherly love after he had a terrible performance against the defending champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. As for the Orlando Magic, they are already officially eliminated from the NBA playoffs as they have had a disappointing season.

My first pick for this game is Cole Anthony as the young standout has been one of the lone bright spots for the Orlando Magic this season. Anthony has averaged fifteen points a game this season to go along with nearly six assists a game as well. If the Magic can successfully build around the former UNC Tar Heel then they could find themselves with their franchise cornerstone for the next 10-15 seasons. I am taking Cole Anthony to go over his combined points, rebounds, and assists total in this matchup.

As for my second pick for this game, I am going with a Philadelphia 76ers Moneyline victory. While I expect Cole Anthony to put up his normal numbers for the Orlando Magic, it is still clear that the Philadelphia 76ers are the most talented team that will be on the court in this game. Philadelphia should have no problem getting a big victory over one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association. Philadelphia will be hoping to get hot at the right time as the season is coming down to its final few weeks.

NBA Parlay Pick: Anthony over Points, Rebounds, Assists & 76ers Moneyline

Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks – 7pm ET

The Indiana Pacers have had a rough season but their move at the trade deadline for Tyrese Halliburton shows that they are indeed building for their future. While they won’t get immediate results from the move if they make the right draft pick they could end up being a playoff contender in the next couple of seasons. Meanwhile, it is clear down in Atlanta that Trae Young is going to need another superstar if they want to get the Atlanta Hawks going in the right direction.

My first pick for this game is the guy I just previously mentioned in Trae Young. As I’m taking Young to go over his total points in this game. Young has put up decent numbers all season long up until this point but the results haven’t always been there on the scoreboard. As the Atlanta Hawks come into this game with a record of 32-34 through their first 66 games of the season. With only 16 games left, the former Oklahoma Sooner will need to continue to step up and hopefully get the Hawks some much-needed victories.

My second pick is Tyrese Halliburton to go over his total points as well. Since coming to Indiana, Halliburton has lit up the scoreboard night in and night out. He will have to step up in a big way in this one as well if he wants to lead the Pacers to a victory over the Atlanta Hawks in this game. Halliburton will be a great player to build around in the future as long as he can stay healthy and productive. The Pacers certainly made the correct move by trading for him at the trade deadline.

NBA Parlay Pick: Young & Halliburton over Points

Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix Suns – 9pm ET

The Los Angeles Lakers were supposed to be the kings of the National Basketball Association this season. However, it just so happens that their opponents are the best team in the league this season. The Lakers have been a complete disappointment this season as they are in danger of missing the playoffs completely. As for the Phoenix Suns, they have already clinched their spot in the NBA playoffs this season. They are the favorites for the NBA championship but may have to get the job done without their star point guard Chris Paul as he is still dealing with an injury.

My first pick for this game is Lebron James, as I look for the best player in the history of the National Basketball Association to put up another great performance. Lebron has stepped up down the stretch as the Lakers are desperate for victories with time running out on the regular season. He has put up multiple 50 point performances in the last couple of weeks and I wouldn’t be shocked if he gets another one in this game as he will need a great game to get the Lakers the win.

My second pick for this game is the Suns’ superstar Devin Booker. As I look for Devin Booker to put up a great game of his own opposite Lebron James. Booker will also have to put up one of his best games of the season if he wants the Suns to get the win over a talented Los Angeles Lakers team. If Booker can remain hot I see no reason why the Suns won’t win the NBA finals this season especially if they get Chris Paul back and healthy in time.

NBA Parlay Pick: James & Booker over Points
