My first pick for this game is Karl Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Towns were this year’s winner of the three-point shooting contest at this year’s NBA all-star weekend. He is considered to be the best shooting big man in the history of the National Basketball Association. Towns have been a dominant force in the league for years and he just seems to keep getting better with every passing season as well. That is why I expect Karl Anthony Towns to put up big numbers in this game to keep the Timberwolves within reach of getting out of the play-in round.
My second pick for this game is the Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown. Since coming out of California, the former Golden Bears star has helped turn the Celtics back into a consistent NBA playoff team and potential title contender. He has played well this season despite some untimely injuries throughout the year. He comes into this one averaging 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists a game. I expect this one to be a good game that goes down to the wire, with Towns and Brown leading the show for their respective teams.

The best team in the Eastern Conference is set to face off with the best team in the Western Conference in this game. For Philadelphia, they still have everything to play for as they are currently tied with Miami but ahead on tiebreakers for first place. While Phoenix has already clinched the best record in the National Basketball Association this season and will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.

My first pick for this game is Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid. “The Process” has been having an incredible season and has firmly inserted himself into the Most Valuable Player award conversation. He is putting up great numbers and has the Philadelphia 76ers looking like one of the best teams in the National Basketball Association this season. That is why I expected another big game from Embiid as the 76ers are looking to find a way to take over first place in the Eastern Conference and remain there as they lead the Miami Heat by tiebreakers at the moment.
My second pick for this game is a Philadelphia 76ers victory over the Phoenix Suns. On any other night, I would be picking Phoenix to get the win, but the truth is, the Suns have nothing left to play for in the regular season as they have already locked up the league’s best record and home-court throughout the playoffs. This makes me think that the Suns are just going to rest their star players with a couple of weeks to go before the start of the NBA playoffs as they look to get back to the finals and pick up a victory this time around.

This may very well be the most important game of this entire month as two teams who are neck and neck for a playoff play-in spot in the Western Conference are set to face off. As the Los Angeles Lakers head East to play the New Orleans Pelicans in a crucial regular-season matchup.

My first pick for this game is the same as usual when it involves the Los Angeles Lakers. I’m taking Lebron James in this game, as the superstar has nearly had to carry the Lakers throughout the entire season at this point. That is why I am expecting yet another big game from Lebron as he looks to keep the Lakers play-in hopes and playoff hopes during the final stretch of the season. If they go another year without a championship it would mark the third time in four Lebron didn’t win in Los Angeles and his tenure there would feel like a failure to some.
My second pick for this game is a Los Angeles Lakers victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. This game may be the most important one of the season for both teams as only half a game separates them in the standings. With the San Antonio Spurs hot on both of their tails, both Los Angeles and New Orleans could use a much-needed victory in this one. At the end of the day, the Lakers are just the more talented team. That is why I have them picking up the victory over New Orleans in this one.

Both Utah and Dallas can use the win in this one as they are only separated by a couple of games in the standings with the final few weeks of the regular season quickly approaching.

My first pick for this game is the Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert. For years he has been one of the defensive players in the National Basketball Association. That is why I am expecting another big performance from him in the defensive end in this huge game that has some serious playoff implications. His impact on both the defensive and offensive ends of the court is a lot of the reason Utah has been playing as well as they have all season long. If he stays healthy this team is a dark horse of mine to win the NBA championship.
My second pick for this game is the Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic. At some point in his career, Luka is going to win multiple Most Valuable Player awards. He is the main reason for all the Dallas Mavericks’ success over the past couple of seasons and this year he has them playing like one of the top teams in the Western Conference. That is why I expect another big performance out of him in this all-important game against the Utah Jazz.

The Charlotte Nets are set to head north to New York City in this one to face off with the Brooklyn Nets. Both the Hornets and Nets have been having somewhat disappointing seasons this year. As the Hornets come into this game with a record of 38-36 on the season. While the Nets come into this game with a record of 39-35 on the season. As these teams are separated by only a single game.

My first pick for this game is the Brooklyn Nets Kyrie Irving. Irving is finally allowed to play home games in Brooklyn and I expect him to show out in a big way during his return to his home court. Irving has put up some monster numbers playing part-time this season. However, his playing part-time is part of the reason the Brooklyn Nets are in the play-in round and eighth place in the Eastern Conference at the moment. Despite all that I am still expecting a big game of him in this one.
My second pick for this game is the other Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant. Durant has been shouldering the load for the Brooklyn Nets for the majority of the season. This is why even with Kyrie back I am still expecting Durant to put up his usual numbers in this game as the Nets are in a must-win situation for the rest of the regular season. With Durant and Irving both on the court and eventually Ben Simmons, this team is a serious championship contender if they all gel together in time for the playoffs.
