Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets – 1pm ET

The Boston Celtics enter this game as one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. They will be taking on what should’ve been a super team and the former NBA title favorites, the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets will once again be without Kyrie Irving and the Celtics will likely be without Jaylen Brown in this one on Sunday afternoon. Boston comes into this contest with a record of 38-27 while the Nets come in at 32-32. As both teams have less than 20 games left to qualify for the playoffs this season.

My first pick is Jayson Tatum as Tatum will once again be looked at to carry the load for the Boston Celtics in this one. Tatum has put up pretty impressive numbers recently having recorded over 20 points in each of his last five contests. Against the Brooklyn Nets this season he is averaging 21 points a game which means he has had the upper hand over the Nets in three games so far. Tatum will likely put up similar numbers in his fourth and final game against Brooklyn in this regular season.

As for my second pick in this game I’m going with Patty Mills to go over his combined number of points and assists as Mills have excelled in Brooklyn with the constant absences of Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and now Ben Simmons. Mills is averaging nearly 13 points a game this season. I look for him to put up another decent performance in this one as he tries to get the Brooklyn Nets in the playoffs alongside Kevin Durant. Mills is having maybe one of the best years of his career this season and I expect it to continue throughout the rest of the regular season perhaps into the playoffs.

NBA Parlay Pick: Jayson Tatum over points & Patty Mills over points & assists

Phoenix Suns @ Milwaukee Bucks – 3:30pm ET

Cameron Johnson hit a miraculous three the other night to avoid an upset from the New York Knicks to give the Phoenix Suns the victory. Now the Suns will have to play a much more efficient game in this one when they take on the defending NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals. Only the Suns look to be on track to get back to the finals this year however. As the Bucks aren’t the best team in the Eastern Conference this season. They currently find themselves in third place, three games behind the Miami Heat for first.

My first pick comes from the Suns and it is their superstar big man in the middle, Deandre Ayton. As I look for Ayton to have a big performance on the inside in this one. Ayton has been a force in the middle for the Suns this season as he is averaging 16 points and nine rebounds to go along with nearly a block and a steal a game. In this one I look for him to be a savage on the block again which is why I’m taking the over on points and rebounds for Ayton against the Bucks.

For my second pick I’m taking Giannis to go over his points, rebounds, and assists as I look for the Greek Freak to turn in a fantastic performance in this prime time game. The former MVP has been carrying the Bucks all season again and I expect it to continue throughout the rest of the regular season and the playoffs as he looks to guide the Bucks to back to back NBA finals. Giannis has averaged 30 points and 11 rebounds this season and will likely finish the year averaging a double-double.

NBA Parlay Pick: Ayton over rebounds & points & Giannis over Points, rebounds & assists

Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 7:30pm ET

Since reaching the mountaintop in 2019 it hasn’t been quite the same for the Toronto Raptors. However, they still have a very talented core of Pascal Siakam and Fred Van Veelt. With an added piece this team could easily transform back into a contender quickly. The Cleveland Cavaliers on the other hand have looked great this season even with an immense amount of youth, but injuries are finally starting to catch up to them as they have been struggling as of late. Only time will tell if they can get healthy and into the playoffs to make a run.

My first pick comes from the young core of the Raptors that I previously talked about as I’m taking Fred Van Vleet to go over his total points mark. Van Vleet has gone from star in college at Wichita State to undrafted to being on the cusp of being an NBA superstar. If his career remains on its current trajectory Van Vleet will end up being a top 15 player in the league in a few more years time. He is averaging 21 points per game as he has excelled this season. I am expecting more of the same from him in this one.

For my second pick I’m taking Kevin Love to go over his points total. Love has been great this season, readjusting his role and coming off the bench. It has completely transformed his career and he has helped the Cavs be several years ahead of their rebuild this season. He was one of the key pieces of the 2016 title run and now he is a key piece in what could end up being another title window for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Look for Love to be effective behind the arc in this one as he tries to help get the Cavs out of their recent skid and back on track.

NBA Parlay Pick: Fred Van Vleet & Kevin Love over points

New Orleans Pelicans @ Denver Nuggets – 8pm ET

Just a few years ago the New Orleans Pelicans have one of the brightest young cores in the sport after trading Anthony Davis. Now it’s not working out and they may be regretting their drafting of Zion Williamson. The Pelicans made a big splash before the trade deadline by trading for former GlenOak high school and Lehigh star CJ McCollum however it may not be enough to get them in the playoffs this season. Meanwhile the Denver Nuggets have been one of the best teams in the West this season led by Nikola Jokic and look to compete for a Western Conference championship.

My first pick for this one is Nikola Jokic to record a double-double in this game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Jokic has been a savage on the boards and has been scoring buckets, along with assisting on them as well. I look for him to have no problem recording more than 10 points, rebounds, or assists and he may very well end up with a triple double in this game. But I am going with the safe bet and predicting that he is going to get at least a double-double in this one.

For my second pick I’m going with a Denver Nuggets victory. I think the Nuggets will have no problem overpowering and out matching the New Orleans Pelicans in this game. As they just have double the talent that New Orleans has at the moment especially since the Pelicans are without star draft pick Zion Williamson. It could be a dagger of a blow for the Pelicans as they are barely hanging on to the last spot in the play-in at the moment with a record of 27-36 on the season.

NBA Parlay Pick: Jokic double-double & Nuggets moneyline

New York Knicks @ Los Angeles Clippers – 10pm ET

Both of these big market franchises are having miserable years. Both of them also came into this season with tons of hype and expectations surrounding them and neither of them have lived up to those expectations. The New York Knicks come into this game with a record of 25-38 as they are towards the bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile the Los Angeles Clippers come into this game with a record of 34-31 as they are currently slated for the play-in round.

My first pick for this game is Julius Randle, as Randle has burst onto the scene outside of his former home in Los Angeles as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. He has transformed into one of the best big men in the league and I expect another fantastic performance from him on the road back in Los Angeles in this one. So far this season he is averaging nearly 20 points, to go along with ten rebounds and five assists as he has been one of the few bright spots on a miserable Knicks team. I’m taking Randle to get a double-double in this one.

For my second pick I’m taking a Los Angeles Clippers victory as I look for the Clippers to handle the onslaught of Randle to get the win on the road in this game. Despite both teams being below expectations this season, Los Angeles has been the better of the two and still have a fighting shot at the NBA playoffs. Which I why I look for the Clippers to pick up the victory in this game and continue their quest to stay in the playoff hunt with less than 20 games left in the season.

NBA Parlay Pick: Randle double-double & Clippers moneyline
