He has been putting up some decent performances throughout the early part of the season although his shooting hasn’t been the most efficient as well. That is why I look for his passing ability to be on full display in this game on Sunday afternoon against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Despite the rough start to the season, shooting percentage wise, he is still one of the best point guards in the league as his ability to pass the basketball put him in the top five in my opinion. I expect him to have a solid game, passing the basketball and assisting his teammates throughout this game on Sunday afternoon against the New York Knicks. LaMelo Ball comes into this game. Averaging nearly nine assists per game this season and I look for him to go over his total assists here on Sunday against the New York Knicks.
My second pick for this game is for the New York Knicks shooting guard Jaylen Brunson. He has been the leader of this team since signing with the Knicks after coming over from the Dallas Mavericks in free agency. Here in this one he will be looking to lead this team to a solid victory here on Sunday afternoon at home against Charlotte. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the New York Knicks this season as he is averaging nearly 23 points per game. I look for him to put up another quality performance here on Sunday against the Charlotte Hornets as the Knicks look at their season, rolling in the right direction. He will need to be a lot more efficient on the offensive end of the court as he is shooting around 40% on the season if he wants to be successful in this game. However, that’s exactly what I expect as I look for him to go over his total points here on Sunday afternoon at home.

Washington Wizards @ Brooklyn Nets – 3pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Washington Wizards, Kyle Kuzma. He has put up some fantastic performances throughout the early parts of the regular season, and he will be looking to record another quality game here on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn. He has been leading the way for the Washington Wizards throughout this part of the regular season and he will be looking to continue doing so as they look to get things turned around and pick up a much-needed victory here on Sunday. Kyle Kuzma comes into this game as the leading scorer for Washington throughout their first eight games of the season. As he comes into this game averaging around 24 points per game, despite results not coming on the scoreboard for the Wizards. He will be looking to lead them to a much-needed victory here on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn and I looked for him to go over his total points in the process against the Brooklyn Nets. As Kyle Kuzma looks to lead Washington to their third victory of the year.
My second pick for this game is for the Brooklyn Nets, Lonnie Walker. He comes into this game as the third leading scorer for the Brooklyn Nets this season, but they will be without both Cam, Thomas and Ben Simmons, which means more responsibility, will fall on his shoulders in this game on Sunday afternoon at home. He is currently averaging around 17 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and he will need to have a pretty consistent and efficient performance here on Sunday afternoon if Brooklyn wants to pick up the victory over Washington. He will have to surpass his total points per game average for Brooklyn to be successful in this one as they will be without two of their best players here on Sunday as they are both dealing with injuries that will keep them sidelined. I expect Lonnie Walker to step up to the plate and deliver as I look for him to go over his total points here on Sunday afternoon at home against Washington.

Indiana Pacers @ Philadelphia 76ers – 6pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton. He is one of the best point guards in the league as his ability to both shoot and pass the basketball makes him a dangerous threat. Every time Indiana comes down on the offensive end of the court. He has been incredible in both facets of the game throughout the early part of the regular season and he will be looking to record another quality performance here on Sunday night on the road in Philadelphia. He comes into this game averaging a double-double, as he is putting up around 24 points and 12 assists per game throughout the early stages of the regular season. I expect his offensive skill set to be on full display once again here in this game on Sunday night on the road as he looks to lead Indiana to their seventh victory of the season. I look for him to put on a solid scoring display in this game against the 76ers as I look for Tyrese Haliburton to go over his total points in this game on Sunday night.
My second pick for this game is for the former Most Valuable Player award winner, and one of the best big men in the league, Joel Embiid. He is off to another fantastic start this season, as he looks to keep his name in the running for a second consecutive MVP award. He will be looking to record another quality performance here on Sunday night at home against the Indiana Pacers as Philadelphia looks to continue their solid start to the season as well. Embiid comes into this game as the leading scorer for Philadelphia and his points per game average has him among the leading scorers in the league throughout the early part of the year as well. Even without James Harden on the floor to help him open the floor he is still putting up monster numbers each and every night. I expect more of the same from him here on Sunday afternoon against the Indiana Pacers as I look for Joel Embiid to go over his total points in this game.

Detroit Pistons @ Chicago Bulls – 7pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Detroit Pistons Cade Cunningham. He has been putting up quality numbers throughout the early stages of the regular season and he picked up where he left off after missing the remainder of the season last year with a severe injury. He will be looking to record another quality performance here on Sunday afternoon on the road in Chicago as Detroit looks to get a momentum boosting victory early on in the year. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Detroit Pistons throughout their first handful of games, and he has also been very efficient at passing basketball as well. As he comes into this game averaging around 24 points per game and seven assists per game throughout Detroit’s first 10 games of the year. Despite the results not coming on the scoreboard for Detroit, he is still putting up quality performances, almost each and every night and I expect more of the same out of Cade Cunningham here on Sunday night in Chicago. As I look for him to go over his total points here on Sunday night against the Chicago Bulls as Detroit looks for a solid early season divisional victory.
My second pick for this game is for the Chicago Bulls DeMar DeRozan. There is an argument to be made that he is one of the best players in the entire league, as his ability on both ends of the court is matched by few. I look for his offensive ability to be on full display here on Sunday night at home against Detroit, as Chicago looks to get their season going in the right direction with a crucial victory here in this one. DeMar DeRozan has been the leading man for the Chicago Bulls after the last few years, and he will be looking to keep that narrative alive with another great performance here on Sunday night against their Central division rivals and what feels like an opportunity for Chicago to grab a massive momentum boost here on Sunday night. He comes into this game leading Chicago in assists per game with around five and he’s second in points per game with an average of 22 points per game on the season. I look for him to record a quality performance here on Sunday night as I have DeMar DeRozan going over his total points against the Detroit Pistons.

Denver Nuggets @ Houston Rockets – 7pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Denver Nuggets, big man and the former two-time back to back Most Valuable Player award winner, Nikola Jokic. he is off to another incredible start this season and he will be looking to keep the momentum here on Sunday night on the road against a very young and inexperienced Houston Rockets team. He has been putting up monster numbers for the Denver Nuggets throughout the early part of the regular season and that will likely continue in this game as well as Denver looks to continue their solid start to the year. Nikola Jokić comes into this game nearly averaging a triple double on the season as he is putting up around 30 points per game, as well as double digit rebounds and almost nine assists per game throughout the early part of the year. I expect him to have another incredible performance here on Sunday night against the Houston Rockets as I look for him to record a triple double and go over his total points in this game, and if everything goes according to plan, he could basically have one by the time halftime rules around with the way he has looked throughout the early part of the season.
My second pick for this game is for the Houston Rockets Jalen Green. This is a very young Houston Rockets roster, and Jalen Green has been leading the way for them throughout the early part of the regular season. He comes into this game as the leading scorer as he is averaging around 20 points per game early on in the regular season. He will be looking to record another quality performance here on Sunday night at home against the defending NBA champions, as Houston looks for a massive momentum boosting victory early on in the year. They are off to a pretty solid start of the season, considering they’re one of the youngest teams in the league as they have picked up five victories through their first eight games of the season, and some of that can be attributed to the play of Jalen Green. I look for him to record another quality performance here on Sunday night against Denver as Houston looks for their sixth victory of the year. I expect him to go over his total points in the process against Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets.
