My first pick for this game is for the New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson. He had an incredible game in the first game of their back to back on Wednesday evening in Miami against the Heat. As he was second on the New York Knicks in scoring but unfortunately, the next came up short, and now they will be looking to bounce back here in this one against the Orlando Magic. Brunson dropped 25 points on Wednesday evening, and I expect him to have a similar type of performance and this one is the next look to pick up another victory an inch closer to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the fourth seed in the Eastern conference. That is why I look for Jalen Brunson to go over his total points in this game.
My second pick for this game is for the Orlando Magic’s former number one overall draft pick in the runaway rookie of the year award winner Paolo Banchero. He is putting up almost unheard of numbers during his rookie season, and the league as he is leading the Magic in scoring. He comes into this game averaging 20 points per game on the season and there isn’t another rookie in the league that even comes close to the production that he has provided for Orlando this season. I expect him to have another great game in this one on Thursday evening against the New York Knicks at home. As I also look for Banchero to go over his total points.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Brooklyn Nets – 7:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Cleveland Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell led the way in scoring for the Cleveland Cavaliers the last time they faced the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday evening. As he dropped 31 points to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers to a much-needed victory on the road, and keep some distance between them, and the New York Knicks for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. I expect another solid performance out of Donovan Mitchell in this one as the Cavaliers look to beat the Brooklyn Nets for the second time in a row on the road. That is why I have Mitchell going over his total points on Thursday evening.
My second pick for this game is for the Cleveland Cavaliers to pick up the victory and cover the spread against the Brooklyn Nets here on Thursday night. As previously mentioned, these two teams faced off on Tuesday and it was the Cleveland Cavaliers that came away with a victory. Now they will play for the third and final time during the regular season and both teams have won a game a piece. However, when Brooklyn beat Cleveland, it was back before Christmas and back when they still had Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. This is a very different Brooklyn Nets team, and I think they will fall to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time in a row and lose the regular season series as well.

Charlotte Hornets @ New Orleans Pelicans – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the New Orleans Pelicans CJ McCollum. Ever since he has arrived in New Orleans, he has turned the franchise around, especially after leading them to a playoff berth last season. He looked great this season as well, as he is one of their leading scorers and has them on the verge of making the playoffs once again. He will have to carry even more of a load in this one as Zion Williamson is expected to miss this game. McCollum comes into this one averaging 21 points per game on the season and I have him going over his total points here on Thursday.
My second pick for this game is for the New Orleans Pelicans to pick up the victory at home over the Charlotte Hornets in this game on Thursday night. Not only do I look for New Orleans to pick up the victory, I also expect them to cover the spread even without Zion Williamson on the lineup. It has been a rough year for Charlotte and I don’t look for it to get much better for them in this one as I think New Orleans will get themselves a comfortable victory in this game at home. New Orleans already has one victory over Charlotte this season when they met earlier this year in Charlotte, New Orleans picked up a 12 point victory and I expect more of the same in this game.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Clippers – 10:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shea Gilgeous Alexander. He is playing incredible basketball this season as he comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Oklahoma City Thunder. His points per game average also puts him among the league leaders in scoring as well, as he averages over 30 points per game on the season. I expect him to have another solid game in this one as he takes on his old team when they travel to Los Angeles to play the Clippers. That is why I have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander going over his total points in this game.
My second pick for this game is for the Oklahoma City Thunder to pick up the upset victory on the road over the Los Angeles Clippers in this game on Thursday evening. The Thunder have been one of the hottest teams in basketball as they have picked up eight victories in their last 10 games and I expect them to grab another one in this one. They are coming off of a one point victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in their last game and I expect them to pick up their 2nd Street victory over Los Angeles in this one.
