My first pick for this game is the Philadelphia 76ers superstar shooting guard James Harden. Since coming to Philadelphia earlier his season Harden seems a lot happier and his stats on the basketball court seem to reflect that as well. However, no matter where he goes he still seems to have trouble when the lights are the brightest and the stage is the biggest. Luckily for the Philadelphia 76ers and James Harden this game is not one of those times, that is why I am expecting a huge performance out of Harden in this game.
My second pick for this game is a Philadelphia 76ers victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Philadelphia 76ers are by far the more talented team this season both on paper and on the basketball court. Detroit comes into this one as one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association and it’s been that way for a couple of years now as they are still in the middle of a lengthy rebuild. Despite being on the road I still look for the Philadelphia 76ers to grab a victory in this one as they look to remain among the top three in the Eastern Conference standings.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets – 7:30pm ET
Before the season started most people thought this game would be a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview. However, only the Milwaukee Bucks look like they are good enough to last that long as the Brooklyn Nets have been a huge disappointment this season. Milwaukee comes into this game with a record of 47-28, while Brooklyn has a record of 40-36.

My first pick for this game is the former Most Valuable Player award winner, Kevin Durant. Durant has been the man to carry the load for the majority of the season for the Brooklyn Nets after prolonged absences from Kyrie Irvng, Ben Simmons, and James Harden. That is why I expect more of the same from Durant in this one as he tries to get the Brooklyn Nets a much needed victory over the defending champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. With the possibility of Giannis being out this game, this one could easily turn into the Kevin Durant show on Thursday night in New York City.
My second pick for this game is the Brooklyn Nets point guard and part time superstar, Kyrie Irving. Thanks to New York City repealing the vaccine mandate, Kyrie Irving is finally allowed to play games at home in Brooklyn. I think he will take full advantage of it in this game as the Brooklyn Nets will be desperate for victories down the stretch. Irving can easily drop fifty plus points whenever he feels the urge to and while he may not get 50 in this one I still think he will put up a nice number on the scoreboard.

This one is going to be a great game between two of the top young stars in the National Basketball Association. When the Cleveland Cavaliers and Darius Garland face off with Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.

My first pick for this game is Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Caris LeVert. It seems as if LeVert finally broke out of his stump during the Cavaliers loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday evening. He put up a 20 plus point performance and I am expecting another one out of him in this game. Since coming to Cleveland around the trade deadline, LeVert hasn’t been much help, but if he gets going he makes this Cavs team that much more dangerous.
My second pick for this game is Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young. Young is one of the best young players in the National Basketball Association, no pun intended. I look for another big time performance out of him in what ie certainly a must win game for the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night at home. As of right now this is a battle of Eastern Conference playoff teams and I expect Garland, LeVert, and Young to put on a back and forth show in this one.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Chicago Bulls – 8pm ET
The Los Angeles Clippers have been a disappointment this season, while the Chicago Bulls have been a dark horse title contender all season long. Now these two teams will meet in the Windy City for an Eastern Conference vs Western Conference clash.

My first pick for this game is DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan has seemingly reinvented his career in the Windy City and he has the Chicago Bulls looking like a serious threat in the Eastern Conference because of it. He has the ability to put up points at will and could easily go for 30 plus on a nightly basis if he needed too. With the possible absence of Zach LaVine in this game, DeRozan will be the main guy on the floor for the Bulls and that is why I expect a big performance out of him as he looks to secure Chicago a spot outside of the playoff play-in round.
My second pick for this game is the Los Angeles Clippers superstar small forward Paul George. After a lengthy stint on the bench, sidelined by an injury, George returned with a bang in the Los Angeles Clippers last game where he put up a masterful performance. I expect another big time performance from Paul George in this one as he will likely have to carry the Clippers throughout the rest of the regular season and potentially even the postseason if Kawhi Leonard doesn’t return.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz – 10pm ET
Much like their Los Angeles counterparts the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers have also been a huge disappointment this season. But unlike the Clippers, the Lakers may not even make the NBA playoffs at all this season as they are getting desperate down the stretch. Now they will be taking on the Utah Jazz, who have been one of the top teams in the Western Conference all season long.

My first pick for this game is Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell is one of the top young players in the entire National Basketball Association. Alongside Rudy Gobert they may even end up becoming a better combination than John Stockton and Karl Malone if they can bring the Utah Jazz an NBA championship. I look for Mitchell to have another big performance against a struggling Los Angeles Lakers team that is in danger of missing the playoffs this season.
My second pick for this game is a Utah Jazz victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers will be without superstars Lebron James and Anthony Davis for this one and it will only further add to the hill they will have to climb to get a much needed win. The Lakers’ struggles as of late has pushed them all the way out to the playoff picture with only around five games remaining in the regular season. Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz are looking like a real darkhorse team to win the NBA championship.
