My first pick for this game is for the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler. He is one of the best two-way players in the league, and when he came into the NBA he was considered a defensive superstar. However, during his time in the league, his game on the offensive end of the court has evolved, and he has turned into a pretty efficient scorer for the Miami Heat over the last several seasons. He will be looking to record another quality performance in this game on Thursday night at home against the Brooklyn Nets as Miami looks to keep the momentum rolling early on in the regular season. For that to happen, Jimmy Butler will have to continue putting up solid numbers throughout the early part of the season and I expect him to do just that in this game against Brooklyn here on Thursday night. Jimmy Butler comes into this game as the third leading scorer for the Miami Heat, as he is averaging around 20 points per game so far this season. I expect him to put up quality numbers in this game, as I look for him to go over his total points here on Thursday night at home against the Brooklyn Nets.
My second pick for this game is for the Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro. After coming out of Kentucky, he has evolved into being one of the best point guards in the league although sometimes he may not get the respect he deserves. He is off to a fantastic start this season, and he will be looking to keep that fantastic start of the year going with a quality performance here on Thursday night at home against the Brooklyn Nets. He comes into this game as the second leading scorer for the Miami Heat this season as he is averaging around 22 points per game on the year and he will be looking to maintain that pace with another 20+ points performance here on Thursday night. He has also been pretty efficient across the board as he is averaging around five rebounds per game and five assists per game throughout the early part of the regular season. I expect him to post another quality performance in this game against the Brooklyn Nets shooting the basketball here on Thursday night. As I look for Tyler Herro to go over his total points in this game, as Miami looks to pick up another victory, and get themselves back into a position towards the top of the conference standings.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors – 10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Oklahoma City point guard Shai Gilgeous Alexander. He has been a walking bucket throughout the early part of the regular season, and he will be looking to maintain that performance here on Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors on the road in the Bay Area. He is off to a fantastic start to the season as he comes into this game as the leading scorer for Oklahoma City and his point per game average puts among the league’s leading scorers throughout the early part of the year as well. His 30 points per game average also has Oklahoma City off to a respectable start to the season as they come into this game with seven victories through their first eleven games of the year. He will be looking to record another fantastic performance, and once again, put the team on his back against Golden State here on Thursday night, in one of the toughest environments in the league. I expect him to do just as I look for Alexander to go over his total points in this game against Golden State on Thursday.
My second pick for this game is for the Golden State Warriors Klay Thompson. He didn’t make much noise in their game on Tuesday against Minnesota as he was ejected like a couple minutes into the ball game after recording only one shot. It seems likely that he will play in this game here on Thursday night against Oklahoma City and this is a team that he has had plenty of success against throughout his career. He will be looking to record another quality performance here on Thursday night at home as they look to pick up a crucial victory early on in the season against a team that is also a pretty solid start through the early part of the year. He will likely have to leave this team as it seems as if Steph Curry will miss another game while he is dealing with a knee injury. He comes into this game averaging 15 points a game, but with Curry listed as a gametime decision he will likely be the leading scorer available for Golden State in this one. That is why I look for Klay Thompson to go over his total points here on Thursday night at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
