My first pick for this game is the Atlanta Hawks superstar point guard Trae Young. The former Oklahoma Sooners star is the franchise cornerstone of the Atlanta Hawks and he will have to show up big down the stretch if he wants to get this team into the NBA Playoffs this season. The Hawks fate is already decided this season as they will be playing in the play-in round, however, they still have the opportunity to host the game if they can get a few more wins in their last four or so games. That is where Young comes into the picture as he will have to continue to carry the team.

My second pick for this game is Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet. Since coming out of Wichita State undrafted, VanVleet has blossomed into one of the best young players in the National Basketball Association. Much like the Hawks will need to rely on Young to host a play-in game, the Raptors will need to rely on VanVleet to keep them out of the play-in round. I look for both Trae Young and Fred VanVleet to have tremendous performances in this one as they look to give their teams much-needed victories.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Chicago Bulls – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls. LaVine has put up some fantastic numbers this season as he has the Chicago Bulls playing like one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. I think LaVine will deliver another big-time performance in this one against the reigning and defending NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. LaVine is putting up Most Valuable Player award-winning types of numbers this year for the Bulls. I could easily see him dropping 20+ points in this game.

My second pick for this game is a Chicago Bulls victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at home in the Windy City on Tuesday evening. There are a couple of factors that led me to this choice. One of them is the fact that the Milwaukee Bucks will likely be without their superstar and former two-time Most Valuable Player award winner Giannis Antetokounmpo in this game. Secondly, with only a handful of games left in the regular season, the Bulls still have something to play for as they can still potentially find themselves in the play-in round so they will be looking to get the wins they need to avoid that.

San Antonio Spurs @ Denver Nuggets – 9pm ET
My first pick for this game is the reigning and defending Most Valuable Player award winner, Nikola Jokic. Jokic is likely going to win his second straight Most Valuable Player this season and he certainly deserves it. I look for Jokic to deliver another big-time performance in this one, maybe even one that locks up the Most Valuable Player award race for the rest of the season. Denver still hasn’t something to play for down the stretch as they are in first place of the Northwest division but only hold a half-game lead over the Utah Jazz.

My second pick for this game is a Denver Nuggets victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. While San Antonio has been playing much better as of late and is closing in on locking in a playoff play-in spot I still think Denver gets the upper hand in this one. I also think home-court advantage will help play a difference in the outcome of this one as well. As the Nuggets have been strong at home this season and have a record of 22-16 through the first 38 of their 41 games in Denver this season.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Utah Jazz – 9pm ET
My first pick for this game is the Memphis Grizzlies superstar and franchise cornerstone Ja Morant. Morant has been playing incredibly this season and despite missing a few games for an injury, he is still very worthy of being in the Most Valuable Player award winner conversation. I look for Morant to put up another big-time performance as he looks to get the Memphis Grizzlies a huge momentum-boosting win before the NBA playoffs. I look for Morant to drop at least twenty points, if not more in this one.

My second pick for this game is the Utah Jazz superstar point guard Mike Conley. Conley has put up decent numbers this year alongside Mitchell and Gobert. The Jazz has a real big three in my opinion and this is their best shot to win an NBA championship since the days of John Stockton and Karl Malone. They are a dark horse team to win the title in my opinion. However, Conley will have to play a big role in that title run. I expect him to put up a nice performance in this game as the Utah Jazz are still looking to capture a Northwest division championship.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix Suns – 10:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is the Suns franchise cornerstone and superstar Devin Booker. I think Booker will have a huge game in this one against a Los Angeles Lakers team that likely won’t feature Lebron James or Anthony Davis. I think Booker will lead the Suns to a victory and officially knock the Los Angeles Lakers out of the postseason for the second year in a row. Booker is one of the top stars in the National Basketball Association and could potentially become the top player in the league.

My second pick for this game is a Phoenix Suns victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Phoenix on Tuesday evening. I think this will be the defining blow that knocks the Los Angeles Lakers out of the playoffs for the 2021-22 season. This has perhaps been the worst team the Los Angeles Lakers have ever had when you compare the talent level on the roster and the results of the season. This will only be the third losing season Lebron James has ever had in his career and two of them have come as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
