Atlanta Hawks @ Charlotte Hornets – 7pm ET

These two Southeast division teams meet on Wednesday night with both of them desperately needing a victory. With the regular season coming down to its final handful of weeks, both of these teams are in danger of missing the playoffs this season. Both of these teams are coming off of victories over the Trail Blazers and Thunder on Monday night.

My first pick for this game is the Atlanta Hawks superstar point guard Trae Young. He has been lighting it up so far this season but the results haven’t always been there on the scoreboard for the Hawks. In his last game, Young put up some fantastic numbers as he scored 46 points and added 12 assists to go with six rebounds as well. I expect more of the same from him in this one as he tries to lead the Atlanta Hawks down the stretch run and into the playoffs this season.

My second pick for this game is the young rookie star Lamelo Ball for the Charlotte Hornets. Ball is one of the top three favorites to win the rookie of the year award in many people’s eyes. However, I look for him to get beat out by Cleveland’s Evan Mobley. Ball has been great so far this season and has lit up the scoreboard on several occasions. My picks for this game are going to be Trae Young and Lamelo Ball to go over their total points line. I think this will be a showcase between these two tremendous young stars.

NBA Parlay Pick: Young & Ball over Points

Philadelphia 76ers @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 7pm ET

The 76ers have gone all-in on winning an NBA Championship this season. While the Cleveland Cavaliers have been the surprise team of the league this year. Both of these teams will meet again after playing just over a week or so again in a game where the Philadelphia 76ers came away with a 125-119 victory at home. Now they will make the trip west to Cleveland to try and get another victory over this young but hungry Cavs team.

My first pick for this game is the Cavaliers all-star point guard Darius Garland. As he has put up great numbers all season long and is truly having his breakout season in the National Basketball Association. He has the Cavs playing like a top team in the Eastern Conference and his supporting cast could potentially lead them on a deep playoff run if they can get healthy. I expect Garland to step up to the plate again in this one and put up another big game as the Cavs try to avenge the loss from earlier this month to the Sixers.

My second pick for this one is a Cavaliers victory. I think the Cavs will get a boost from playing in front of their home fans and it will be enough to carry them to a much-needed win down the stretch of the season. The Cavs have been playing well this year despite being without Garland at times, Collin Sexton for most of the season, Caris LeVert, and now all-star center Jarrett Allen who likely will be back by the start of the playoffs at least. Despite all the injuries, I think the Cavs grind out a tough win at home and Garland goes over his points total.

NBA Parlay Pick: Garland over Points & Cavaliers Moneyline

Dallas Mavericks @ Brooklyn Nets – 7:30pm ET

This is likely going to be the best game of the evening. As the Dallas Mavericks head to Brooklyn to take on the once again Kyrie Irving-less Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday evening. Dallas is coming into this game off of a 95-92 win over the Boston Celtics on Monday. Meanwhile, the Nets will be playing their third game in four days after beating the New York Knicks on Sunday and the Orlando Magic on Tuesday after a sensational game from Kyrie Irving where he seemed like he couldn’t miss the hoop.

My first pick for this game is the Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic. As of right now, Luka is a top three favorites to win an NBA Most Valuable Player award this season. Doncic has been playing great this season and has the Dallas Mavericks in a great spot as they prepare to make a deep playoff run. In the win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon, Doncic put up 26 points and shot 50% from the field on 8/16 shooting. He would also end up with eight assists and eight rebounds as well.

My second pick for this game is a Dallas Mavericks win as I expect the Brooklyn Nets to fall off a little bit without the hot-handed Kyrie Irving on the floor. Dallas has been on a bit of a roll as of late as they have won their previous two games and seven out of their last eight overall. Dallas is currently in 5th in the Western Conference and three games out of the 7th seed which is a play-in spot for the NBA playoffs. I look for them to jump Utah for 4th when they get the victory in this game.

NBA Parlay Pick: Doncic over Points & Mavs Moneyline

Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets – 8pm ET

The Phoenix Suns are currently running through the league even without their superstar point guard Chris Paul for the last couple of weeks. They will play the Houston Rockets in this one and it has been a less than desirable season for the young Rockets as they are one of the league’s worst teams this year. This is truly a melting of opposites in the Western Conference on Wednesday evening.

My first pick for this game is the previously mentioned Devin Booker as I look for Booker to have another big game en route to another Phoenix Suns victory. In the Suns, last game Booker put on yet another show on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans in a 131-115 Suns win. He scored 27 in only 30 minutes of action and added 8 assists to go with five rebounds as well. I expect more of the same from Booker in the second game of this back to back against Houston as the Suns inch closer and closer to locking up the number one overall seed.

My second pick for this game is a Suns win as this should be another opportunity for the starting five to get some rest as I don’t expect this one to be close at all. Phoenix should have no problem taking the Houston Rockets to the woodshed as they look to add win number 56 in 70 total games. With only a handful of weeks left in the regular season, the Suns could potentially lock up the number one seed as soon as Memorial Day.

NBA Parlay Pick: Booker over Points & Suns cover

Los Angeles Lakers @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8pm ET

Everything is falling apart for the Los Angeles Lakers as of late as they just can’t seem to get it together with minimal games remaining in the regular season. Now they will have to deal with one of the best big men in the National Basketball Association on Wednesday evening as they look to break a multi-game losing streak. As for Minnesota, they come into this one-off of two straight wins. There is a chance these two teams may meet in the play-in round in about a month.

My first pick for this game is for the previously mentioned Karl Anthony Towns to have a big game against the Los Angeles Lakers at home. Towns has been putting up incredible numbers all season long and has become a huge threat from three-point land as well as he won the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend Three-Point Shooting contest. I look for Towns to go over his total threes made in this one as he looks to get the Timberwolves out of the play-in round and far away from the seventh seed.

My second pick for this game is a Minnesota Timberwolves win as I believe the Lakers are just too cold right now and will drop another one on the road. Despite Lebrons attempted heroics it is clear that the Lakers just aren’t as good as they should be this year as Anthony Davis can’t stay healthy and Russell Westbrook hardly shows up. That is why I think Minnesota will get a much-needed win over Los Angeles and put the Lakers playoff hopes in even more danger.

NBA Parlay Pick: Towns over Threes & Timberwolves Moneyline
