Boston Celtics @ Charlotte Hornets – 7pm ET

The Boston Celtics and Charlotte Hornets will meet in this one on Wednesday night. As two of the best young stars in the league will face off when Lamelo Ball meets Jayson Tatum. The Boston Celtics come into this game sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 39-27 through their first 66 games of the season. Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets come into this game with a record of 32-34 on the season as they are currently in ninth place in the Eastern conference, sitting in the play in range. 

My first pick for this one is the previously mentioned Jayson Tatum as I look for Tatum to put up a big performance against the Charlotte Hornets in this game. Tatum is averaging 26 Points, 8 Rebounds, and 4 Assists up until this point in the season and has been one of the main reasons for the Boston Celtics’ success. He has been on fire against the Hornets this season, in three games against Charlotte, he has averaged 24 points and nearly 7 assists. I’m picking Tatum to go over his points total against the Charlotte Hornets in this one. 

My second pick for this game is a Boston Celtics win. I think the Celtics will take home the easy victory in this game, with a healthy Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. While I look for Lamelo Ball to do his best to make it a competitive hard-fought game, eventually I think the superior talent of the Boston Celtics will prevail in this important Eastern Conference matchup. Due to the competitiveness of the Ball and the Hornets this season I don’t think Boston will cover the spread which is why I am going with the Celtics Moneyline.

NBA Parlay Pick: Tatum Over points & Celtics moneyline 

Phoenix Suns @ Miami Heat – 7:30pm ET

The Phoenix Suns come into this game as one of the best teams in the National Basketball Association season. They have pulled way ahead of the pack in the Western Conference and could clinch home-court advantage throughout the playoffs by as early as April 1st at this rate. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat are the top team in the Eastern Conference this season and have been playing like they want to make their second finals appearance in the last three seasons. This game is easily going to be the best game of the Wednesday evening slate. 

My first pick for this game is Devin Booker as the superstar shooting guard has been one of the top players in the league for some time now. He has been carrying the Phoenix Suns in Chris Paul’s absence over the last couple of weeks. Booker has put up Most Valuable Player award-winning numbers all season long and I don’t expect it to change in this game. As I look for Booker to go over his points total in this matchup of potential number one team in the fast-approaching NBA playoffs. 

My second pick for this game is for Jimmy Butler to go over his combined blocks and steals total. Butler has been great on the offensive end but will always be known for his defensive prowess. Butler is the hardest worker in the National Basketball Association and it shows when he is on the court as he is constantly making big-time plays no matter where he is at. He is the perfect fit for the hard work ethic model that the Miami Heat are built on. This is why I’m expecting another great performance in another big-time game. 

NBA Parlay Pick: Booker over points & Butler over Blocks & Steals 

Atlanta Hawks @ Milwaukee Bucks – 8pm ET

It’ll be the Trae Young and Giannis show in this one. As the Atlanta Hawks travel north to play the Milwaukee Bucks in this all-important Eastern Conference matchup. The Hawks come into this game with a record of 31-33 as they are currently in tenth place in the conference as they are holding onto the final spot with less than 20 games to go in the regular season. As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they come into this game with a record of 41-25 which has them in third place in the Eastern Conference. As they will look to defend their NBA Championship. 

My first pick for this game is the previously mentioned Trae Young, as I look for Young to step up when the lights are the brightest. He is a volume shooter and can certainly go off for 30+ points every single time he is on the court. He also has exceptional passing skills as well and can put up a double-double every time he’s on the court as well. I have Young hitting the over on the number of the three-pointers he will make in this game. As I look for Young to go step for step with Giannis as he looks to lead his team to a much-needed victory. 

For my second pick, I’m moving away from the Greek Freak in this game. As I’m taking Khris Middleton to go over on his threes made as well, just like he did on Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Middleton was four for seven from behind the arc and turned in overall fantastic performance. His final stat line was 9-17 from the field for 25 total points and nine assists as well. I look for him to put up similar numbers in this one against the Hawks at home.

NBA Parlay Pick: Young & Middleton over threes made 

Los Angeles Lakers @ Houston Rockets  – 8pm ET

The Los Angeles Lakers have been shaky at best this season as both Russell Westbrook and LeBron James’ futures with the historic franchise have been called into question this season. They come into this game with a record of 28-36 in this one. With only 18 games left in the regular season, they will certainly need to start stringing some wins together or they will risk missing out on another NBA championship for the third time in LeBron’s four seasons with the team. Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets are coming into this game with a record of 16-49 as they have been much worse than the Lakers.

My first pick for this game is the previously mentioned Lebron James. As I look for LeBron to lock in down the stretch and put on some amazing performances as he tries to guide this team to the postseason. He put up 54 points in his last game and I wouldn’t be shocked if he went for fifty more in this one. His ability to take over games is one of the greatest in the history of the National Basketball Association. This is why I think Lebron is a safe bet throughout the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs as well. 

My second pick is a Los Angeles Lakers victory in this game. The Lakers will be desperate for a victory in this game as the season is coming to a close very fast. Lebron James-led teams have always been able to turn it up down the stretch however, this year may be different, as it may be too little too late. However, as long as Lebron is on the floor you can never doubt the Lakers. This is why I have them getting the victory in this game led by Lebron who I have going over on his points total.

NBA Parlay Pick: James over points & Lakers Moneyline 

New York Knicks @ Dallas Mavericks – 8:30pm ET

The New York Knicks follow the same pattern every single season. They finish a mediocre season and then go into the NBA free agency period thinking they are going to land all the big free agents. But by the time the new season starts they end up not getting the superstar they so desperately need. Meanwhile, for the Dallas Mavericks, they have been playing great so far this season as they come into this game with a record of 40-25 which has them in fifth place in the Western Conference with less than 20 games left in the regular season.

My first pick for this game is none other than Luka Doncic. Luka has been putting up Most Valuable Player award-winning numbers as this season has gone on. I expect more of the same in this matchup against the New York Knicks. This is why I’m taking Luka Doncic to go over his combined points, rebounds, and assists. If Doncic can stay healthy and his supporting cast can get hot at the right time this Mavericks team will have a very real chance of winning the Western Conference and NBA finals this season. 

My second pick for this game is a Dallas Mavericks victory over the New York Knicks. As I look for Dallas to absolutely blitz the Knicks in this one and win by a comfortable margin of around 10-15 points. The Mavericks are just more talented than the Knicks this season. This is why I think they come away from this game in big D with a big victory over the New York Knicks.
