My first pick for this game is for the Memphis Grizzlies superstar point guard Ja Morant. He is one of the best young players in the game and he always delivers when he is on the court. Despite missing 21 games this season I still think he was a top 5 player in the National Basketball Association in 2022. I look for him to put up another big performance in this crucial game three against the Minnesota Timberwolves. As he will be looking to get the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead after their big win in game two.

My second pick for this game is for the Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl Anthony Towns. I look for Towns to have a big game in this one as he tries to put the Minnesota Timberwolves back on top of this series with a huge victory at home. Towns is one of the best big man shooters in the entire history of the National Basketball Association and I think he will hit a few clutch threes in this one. However I am still going to take the over on his points instead of the number of threes he makes.

Dallas Mavericks @ Utah Jazz – 9pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley. The former Ohio State Buckeye is one of the best passers in the National Basketball Association. He has had a lengthy career with plenty of playoff experience that makes him the perfect choice for these kinds of moments. As he will need to step up big time he get the Utah Jazz a huge win in game three of this first round series. That is why I am taking him to go over his assists totals in this one on Thursday night at home.

My second pick for this game is for a Utah Jazz victory over the Dallas Mavericks in game three of this first round series. As I look for the Jazz to protect their home court against a Dallas Mavericks team that will likely be without Luka Doncic again for this one. Utah has looked tough over the first two games of this series but they will need to stop Jalen Brunson in this one. They will also need to have Mitchell and Gobert step up as well.

Golden State Warriors @ Denver Nuggets – 10pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the reigning and defending and likely soon to be the back to back Most Valuable Player award winner, Nikola Jokic. Despite losing the first two games of this series, Jokic has played well and I expect him to play another big role in this one even if they do end up dropping this third game to the Golden State Warriors. I look for Jokic to put up a double-double in this one but most importantly I’m taking him to go over his points total.

My second pick for this game is for a Golden State Warriors victory over the Denver Nuggets in this one to take a 3-0 lead in the series. Golden State is just too good this season for the Nuggets to keep up with and I think they will end up sweeping this series 4-0. They are looking to add another ring to their already impressive dynasty. I think Curry and Draymond Green will step up big in this one against Denver to put the Warriors on the brink of elimination.
