My first pick for this game is for Mississippi Valley State’s Rayquan Brown. Despite the results not coming on the scoreboard for Mississippi Valley State he is still putting up quality numbers individually throughout the early part of the regular season. Now he will be looking to lead them to their first victory of the season when they had the Pacific Northwest to play the Gonzaga Bulldogs here on Monday night. He is averaging around 15 points per game throughout their first nine games of the regular season and he will need to surpass that number if they want to have an opportunity to upset the number seven team in the country here on Monday. He has scored 20 or more points and two out of his last three games, and he will need another 20 point performance in this game to give his team an opportunity to beat Gonzaga. Regardless of the result of this game, I still look for Brown to go over his total points here on Monday night against the Bulldogs.
My second pick for this game is for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Anton Watson. He has put up fantastic numbers throughout the early part of the season and he’ll look to maintain those numbers throughout this game against Mississippi Valley stayed here on Monday night at home. He comes into this game averaging around 15 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and he will look to surpass that number here on Monday night as Gonzaga looks for another early season blowout victory. His play has helped lead them to their solid start to the regular season and he will look to maintain those numbers in this game. He is shooting the basketball, rather efficiently as he is shooting around 59% from the field and if he can maintain that throughout the season this is going to be a very successful year for Gonzaga and Watson as well. I expect him to go over his total points once again here on Monday night at home against Mississippi Valley State.
