My first pick for this game is for the Connecticut Huskies Alex Karaban. He was a huge part of their national championship winning team last season and he has been putting up quality numbers throughout the early part of this season as well. He will be looking to maintain those quality numbers with another solid victory here on Monday night at home against New Hampshire as UConn looks for their seventh victory of the regular season. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Connecticut Huskies as he is averaging double digit points throughout the first six games of the regular season, and he will be looking to record another double digit scoring performance here on Monday night at home as well. He comes into this game averaging 16 points per game throughout the first six games of the season and I look for him to go over his total points here on Monday night against New Hampshire.
My second pick for this game is for New Hampshire’s Clarence Daniels. He has been putting up quality numbers throughout the early part of the regular season as he comes into this game as the leading scorer for New Hampshire. He is averaging over 20 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and he will be looking to maintain that average as they look to upset the defending national champions here on Monday night on the road. If New Hampshire wants to pull off the upset, then Clarence Daniels will need to certainly score every single bit of those 20 points, and potentially more if they want to pull off the win here in this one. He is shooting just below 50% from the field throughout the early part of the regular season and that is something that will need to improve if he wants to maintain this consistency as well throughout the remainder of the year. Regardless of the result of this game, I still look for Clarence Daniels to go over his total points against the Connecticut Huskies here on Monday night.
