My first pick for this game is for the Georgia Southern Eagles Tyren Moore. Despite the success not coming on the scoreboard for Georgia Southern, he is putting up solid individual numbers through their first nine games of the regular season. He will be looking to maintain those numbers and lead them to their first victory of the season with a quality performance here on Tuesday night on the road in Knoxville against Tennessee. He comes into this game averaging around 12 points per game throughout their first nine games of the season and that is a number he will also be looking to improve throughout this game in Knoxville as well. he will need to shoot the basketball a little bit more efficiently as he is shooting around 46% from the field throughout the early part of the year and if they want to find any type of success this season he will need to improve his shooting percentage throughout the year as well. However, I still look for him to go over his total points in this game on Tuesday night, as Georgia Southern looks for the victory.
My second pick for this game is for the Tennessee Volunteers Dalton Knecht. He has been putting up incredible numbers throughout the early part of the season and his play has helped lead Tennessee to this fantastic start of the year. He will post another quality performance in this game on Tuesday night at home against a winless Georgia Southern team as Tennessee looks to add another victory to their record and further establish themselves as a contender this season. He comes into this game averaging 19 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and he is shooting around 49% from the field which is something they will have to improve throughout the year. He has been solid throughout the early part of the season and it’ll be interesting to see if he can maintain that heading into conference play and if he does Tennessee is going to be one of the best teams in the country this season. I expect him to go over his total points in this game on Tuesday night.

Hofstra @ #21 Duke – 7PM ET
My first pick for this game is for Hofstra’s Tyler Thomas. He has been absolutely incredible throughout the early part of the regular season as he comes into this game averaging around 24 points per game. That puts him near the top of the leading scorers in the country throughout the early part of the year. He will be looking to maintain that average or another quality per performance on the road against Duke on Tuesday night. He will need to score each and everyone of those 24 points if Hofstra wants an opportunity to upset a top 25 ranked Duke team on the road at Cameron Indoor Stadium here on Tuesday. He’s shooting around 44% from the field and that is something that we need to improve if he wants to maintain long-term success throughout the season. Regardless of that, I still look for him to post a quality scoring performance here on Tuesday night on the road against Duke, as I look for him to go over his total points.
My second pick for this game is for the Duke Blue Devils Kyle Filipowski. He has been fantastic throughout the early part of his sophomore season after so many people thought he would go to the NBA after his freshman year. His return has paid off for both parties throughout the early part of the season as he is posting quality numbers and Duke looks like one of the top 25 teams in the country throughout the early part of the year as well. He comes into this game averaging around 17 points per game throughout the early part of the season he is shooting right at 50% from the field and that is something he will need to maintain throughout the rest of this nonconference schedule and Atlantic Coast Conference play as well if he wants to be successful. That is exactly what I expect out of him in this game on Tuesday night at home as I look for him to go over his total points as Duke looks for their seventh win of the year.
