My second pick for this game is for the Houston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez. He is off to a decent start this season and he will be looking to add to his numbers in this start against the Los Angeles Angels. He has already picked up five victories on the season and he will be looking for victory number six here on Friday night. The last time Framber Valdez faced off with the Los Angeles Angels, he went eight innings, gave up three hits, and only a single run in a dominating performance. He is currently averaging seven strikeouts per appearance, and I have him going over his total strikeouts in this game on Friday night. As I look for this to be a pitchers duel throughout the early innings between him and Ohtani.

Chicago Cubs @ San Diego Padres – 9:40PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the San Diego Padres starting pitcher Michael Wacha. He has already picked up five victories on the season and he will be looking for victory number six here against the Chicago Cubs on Friday night. I expect the San Diego Padres to get a comfortable victory in this game against the Chicago Cubs on Friday night at Petco Park to open up this three game weekend series. As I look for the Padres offense to hang a crooked number on the board against Tallion, who has struggled throughout the early part of the season.
