My second pick for this game is for the Philadelphia Phillies to pick up the victory over the Washington Nationals in the third game of their four game weekend series. After already playing a doubleheader on Friday this game here on Saturday will go a long way in determining who wins this four game series. As these two National League East division teams are meeting for the final time this season. I expect the Phillies to grind out a much needed win here on Saturday afternoon, as they continue to fight for that third and final wild card spot in the National League. 

Baltimore Orioles @ New York Yankees – 1:05PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the New York Yankees starting pitcher Nestor Cortes. He has broken onto the scene over the course of the season, as he comes into this game with a record of 11-4 through his first 27 appearances of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. He is currently averaging around five and a half innings pitched per appearance and I have him going over his total outs in this game.

My second pick for this game is for the New York Yankees to pick up the victory over the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of their three game weekend series on Saturday afternoon. With Cortes taking the mound for the Bronx Bombers I think it gives the Yankees the clear advantage here in this game as they will be looking to put a nail in the coffin of the Baltimore Orioles playoff hopes this season. Prior to the start of this series, these two American League East teams have met sixteen times, and it hasn’t been close in terms of wins. As the New York Yankees have won eleven out of those sixteen games. I expect them to grab win number 12 here today. 

Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays – 3:07PM ET

My first pick for this game is for the Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling. He is putting up solid numbers this season, as he comes into this game with a record of 9-4 through his first 31 appearances of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. He is currently averaging around four innings pitched per appearance and I have him going over his total outs in this game.

My second pick for this game is for the Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Kyle Wright.
