My second pick for this game is for the Chicago White Sox to pick up the victory over the Detroit Tigers in this game on Sunday afternoon. The White Sox will be desperate for a victory in the finale of this series after they underperformed throughout the weekend and now they will be looking to avoid losing three out of four games against Detroit and force a split of this four game weekend series. That is exactly what I expect to happen as I look for Dylan Cease to help pitch the Chicago White Sox to a much needed victory here on Sunday afternoon.

Houston Astros @ Oakland Athletics – 4:07PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Houston Astros starting pitcher Christian Javier. He is off to a great start this season and I expect that to continue here in this one on Sunday afternoon against the Oakland Athletics. He comes into this game with a record of 5-1 on the year and he will be looking to pick up his sixth victory of the season here in the finale of this series against Oakland. He comes into this one averaging around six strikeouts per appearance and I have him going over his total strikeouts in this one, as Houston tries to complete the sweep of Oakland.
My second pick for this game is for the Houston Astros to pick up the victory over the Oakland Athletics in this game on Sunday afternoon. The Athletics have been the worst team in baseball this season and they have yet to pick up a victory in this series as well, as they come into this game looking to avoid being swept by the defending World Series champions. Houston has been absolutely unstoppable this series and I don’t see that changing in the finale with Christian Javier on the mound. As I expect the defending World Series champions to grab a comfortable victory and cover the spread as well.

Boston Red Sox @ Arizona Diamondbacks – 4:10PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly. They will be looking to keep the victories coming as they look to end this series against Boston with a victory. I expect Kelly to try and lead the Diamondbacks to a victory at home in this one against the Boston Red Sox.

My first pick for this game is for the Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales. He is off to a fast start this season, and he will be looking to keep the momentum rolling in this game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday afternoon. He comes into this game with a record of 4-1, as he will be looking to pick up his fifth victory of the season in this one. His numbers have been consistent across the board throughout the early part of the season and he will be looking to record another quality start in this game. With Marco Gonzales on the mound, the Seattle Mariners hold the clear advantage in the pitching matchup for this finale against Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. I expect them to take full advantage of that and pick up a comfortable victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates to wrap up this three game weekend series. Both teams have picked up one victory during this weekend series and I look for Seattle to have a strong performance to wrap up the series victory here on Sunday.

Philadelphia Phillies @ Atlanta Braves – 7PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Philadelphia Phillies Trea Turner. After an incredible performance at the World Baseball Classic and hasn’t exactly carried over to the Major League Baseball season yet. However, I expect Trea Turner to have a quality performance in the finale of the series against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday Night Baseball. Not only Trea Turner, but the Philadelphia Phillies as a whole have been a bit underwhelming so far this season and both of them will have to perform better. Turner’s production is vital to the success of the Phillies this season, and if he doesn’t step it up, Philadelphia could end up missing the playoffs only a year after they made the World Series. Although, I look for him to go over his total hits in this game as he tries to get things back on track.
My second pick for this game is for the Atlanta Braves Sean Murphy. He has been one of the best heading catchers in all of baseball throughout the season, it makes you wonder why more teams didn’t try and trade for him at the deadline last year. He has added yet another vital piece to this Atlanta Braves lineup, and put them among the most dangerous lineups and all the league this season. I expect him to have another quality game in this one, as the Braves look to pick up a victory in the finale of this series against the Phillies. That is why I also have Sean Murphy going over his total hits here on Sunday night.
