My second pick for this game is for the New York Mets Pete Alonso. He has been tearing the cover off of the baseball so far this season. As he currently leads the league in home runs with 15 long balls to his name. I expect him to have another productive day at the plate, and this one is the New York Mets look to close out this series with the Tampa Bay Rays with a victory on Thursday afternoon at home. My first pick for this game is for the Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher Logan Allen. New York Yankees @ Toronto Blue Jays – 7:07PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the New York Yankees starting pitcher Nestor Cortes. Last year was a career year for Nestor Cortés, and he has been unable to recapture that magic yet. He is having a somewhat slow start to the season, but he has still been productive for the New York Yankees up until this point. He will be looking to pick up his fourth victory of the season and get his record two games above .500 but his earned run average it’s been a huge concern, as it currently sits in the mid-5s coming into this start. My second pick for this game is for the Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios. He isn’t having the greatest start to the season either and he will be looking to record a quality start in this one against the New York Yankees at home. He is coming into the start looking to pick up his fourth victory of the season and lower his ERA, which currently sits in the mid fours heading into the finale of the series. He has surpassed the five inning mark in all but one of his starts this season and that is exactly what I expect out of this one as well. He is averaging around five and a half innings pitched per appearance and I expect him to go over his total outs in this game.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ St.Louis Cardinals – 7:45PM ET
My first pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias.
