He comes into this game averaging 22 points per game on the season and I look for him to go over his total points here on Friday night on the road against Philadelphia as Detroit looks to break this 20+ game losing streak here on Friday night.
My second pick for this game is for the Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid. Last year’s most valuable player award winner is putting up incredible numbers throughout the early part of the regular season as he looks to win his second consecutive most valuable player award. If he maintains those numbers throughout this season, he will likely become the third consecutive player to win two consecutive most valuable player awards in a row. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Philadelphia 76ers as he is averaging over 30 points per game and points per game average also makes him one of the league’s leading scorers throughout the early part of the year as well. He put up incredible numbers when these two teams faced off earlier this week as he scored over 30 points and I look for him to replicate that performance throughout this game on Friday night as well. As I look for Joel Embiid to go over his total points here in this game on Friday night at home against the Detroit Pistons.

Indiana Pacers @ Washington Wizards – 7pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton. For the last several years, he has been one of the best point guards in the league and this year he has firmly established himself as the best point guard in the NBA. He has put up incredible numbers throughout the early part of the regular season and he will look to replicate those performances throughout this game on Friday night in the nation’s capital against the Washington Wizards. He comes into this game, averaging a double double on the season as he leads the Indiana Pacers in both points per game and assists per game throughout the early part of the year. He has also been rebounding the basketball well for a point guard, and that has helped lead Indiana to a quality start to the regular season. I expect him to put up another fantastic performance here in this game on Friday night as I look for Tyrese Haliburton to go over his total points against Washington.
My second pick for this game is for the Washington Wizards, Kyle Kuzma. When Jordan Poole was traded to Washington from Golden State, he immediately took over the spotlight on this team from Kyle Kuzma. Everybody expected him to be the main superstar throughout this season, but so far it has been Kuzma that has been putting up solid numbers for the Wizards more often than not. He will be looking to do so once again here on Friday night at home against the Indiana Pacers, as he looks to lead Washington to a much-needed victory to snap a very lengthy losing streak here in this game. Kyle Kuzma comes into this game averaging 23 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season and he will look to replicate that number throughout this game on Friday night. That is exactly what I expect out of Kyle Kuzma here on Friday night as I look for him to go over his total points here in this one against Indiana.

Orlando Magic @ Boston Celtics – 7:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Orlando Magic Paolo Banchero. The former number one overall draft pick has been putting up solid numbers throughout the early part of the regular season. His play has helped lead Orlando to one of the best records in the league throughout the early part of the year as well. He will look to replicate those numbers when they go on the road to Boston here in this game on Friday night as they look to be the first team in the league to beat Boston at home this season. Banchero comes into this game averaging nearly 21 points per game throughout the early part of the regular season. He will look to surpass that number throughout this game on Friday night against one of the best teams in the league. He has been able to step up in big moments for Orlando throughout the early part of the year, and I expect more of the same here and this one on Friday night. As I look for him to go over his total points in TD Garden against the Boston Celtics.
My second pick for this game is for the Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum. He has been putting up quality numbers throughout the early part of the year as he has been one of the best young players in the league throughout the first month and a half of the season. He will look to maintain those numbers here on Friday night at home as Boston looks to get another victory at home and their third victory at home this week against Orlando. Tatum comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Boston Celtics this season, and his play has helped lead them to one of the best records in the NBA throughout the early part of the season. His points game average also puts him near the top of the leaderboard in points per game throughout the entire NBA as well. Tatum comes into this game averaging around 28 points per game throughout the early part of the year and I look for him to go over his total points here in this one on Friday night.

My first pick for this game is for the Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young.
