My first pick for this game is for the Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young. He has been playing solid basketball this season, and I expect that to continue in this divisional matchup against the Washington Wizards on Friday evening. He comes into this game leading the Atlanta Hawks in points per game and assists per game as he is averaging around 27 points per game and ten assists per game as well. As he is one of many point guards in the league currently averaging a double-double. I expect him to record another one in this game against Washington on Friday night.
My second pick for this game is for the Atlanta Hawks to pick up the victory over the Washington Wizards in this game on Friday evening. This is the second Street game between the two teams in the last time they played on Wednesday evening Atlanta pulled out a close victory over Washington. I am expecting similar results the second time around as I think the Hawks will get themselves another victory over the Washington Wizards here on Friday evening.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Miami Heat – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Cleveland Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell. He has been scoring at an efficient rate all season long, but for some reason when he matches up against the Miami Heat, he just can’t get the ball to go into the bucket. A lot of that has to do with the fact that he is guarded by Jimmy Butler, who is one of the best defenders in the entire league. Mitchell has yet to score over 20 points in three games against the Miami Heat during his time in Cleveland. I look for that trend to continue in this game as I once again expect Donovan Mitchell to go under his total points in this one.
My second pick for this game is for the Miami Heat to pick up the victory and avenge their loss from the other night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. These two teams faced off on Wednesday night, and Cleveland grabbed themselves a very close and uncomfortable victory as Miami nearly made the last second comeback. However, if reports are believed to be true, Darius Garland is expected to miss the second game against Miami, and I think that will cost the Cavs in this one. That is why I’m going with the Miami Heat to pick up the victory over Cleveland on Friday evening.

Brooklyn Nets @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the former number one overall draft pick, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards. He has been elevating his game throughout the entire season and I expect him to come out on this one and put up solid numbers against a weak Brooklyn Nets squad. Edwards comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Minnesota Timberwolves as he puts up around 25 points per game and he’s going against a Brooklyn team that won’t have some of their best defenders. I look for Anthony Edwards to feast on that opportunity and have himself a solid night in the scoring column.
My second pick for this game is for the Minnesota Timberwolves to pick up the victory and cover the spread against the Brooklyn Nets at home on Friday evening. The Brooklyn Nets might come into this game in a playoff spot in the East, but don’t let it fool you. They got to that record before they traded away their two superstars that most of that work witchas accomplished. At the moment Brooklyn is going to look to hold on until the end of the season to see if they can squeak into the playoffs or play in. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s a legit team in the Western Conference if they can get healthy, they could be a dark horse to make a run in the playoffs. I look for them to pick up the easy win in this game.

Denver Nuggets @ San Antonio Spurs – 8pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the defending two time most valuable player award winner Nikola Jokić. He has looked incredible this season, and he is currently averaging a triple double on the year. If he continues to play the way that he has so far, there is a very high chance that he is going to pick up his third consecutive most valuable player award at the end of the season. In two previous games against the San Antonio Spurs Nikola Jokić averaged a double double as well as seven rebounds per game. However, in this one I look for him to go for a triple double and lead the way for a Nuggets victory.
My second pick for this game is for the Denver Nuggets to pick up the victory and cover the spread against the San Antonio Spurs on the road on Friday night. At the end of the day I don’t expect this game to be very close at all, as San Antonio has been absolutely lousy this season. In two games against San Antonio this season Denver has won both and have an average margin of victory of 15 and a half points. I look for a similar result to occur in this game as I think Denver will complete the regular season sweep of San Antonio.

Toronto Raptors @ Los Angeles Lakers – 10:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James. Despite being in the 20th year of his career, he is still one of the best players in the league, and he goes out on a consistent basis and delivers. He comes into this game as the leading scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers as he is averaging around 30 points per game on the season. I look for him to have another solid night in the scoring column in this one. As Los Angeles may be without Anthony Davis, and they will need all the victories they can get with the season quickly coming to an end. That is why I expect LeBron to go over his total points against the Toronto Raptors at home on Friday night.
My second pick for this game is for the Toronto Raptors Pascal Siakam. He is currently the leading scorer and rebounder for the Toronto Raptors. As he is averaging around 25 points per game on the season. To go along with his scoring numbers, he is averaging around eight rebounds per game on the season as well. I look for it to be his points that we focus on in this one as I think he will put up at least 25 if not more as he tries to go back-and-forth with LeBron James on Friday evening. Especially if Anthony Davis is to miss this game Siakam will have a fun time succeeding down in the post here in this game.
