Charlotte Hornets @ Philadelphia 76ers – 12:30pm ET

Both the Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers could use a win in this one as they prepare for the playoffs/playoff play-in round in the Eastern Conference.

My first pick for this game is Philadelphia 76ers superstar shooting guard James Harden. Since coming to the city of brotherly love, Harden has put up some huge numbers but is also still disappearing in some of the bigger games. That is the main issue for the Philadelphia 76ers at the moment. However, this isn’t a big game, which is why I think James Harden will put on a big performance against the Charlotte Hornets. I could easily see Harden putting up a double-digit scoring performance as part of a double-double in this one.

My second pick for this game is a Philadelphia 76ers victory over the Charlotte Hornets in this one on Saturday afternoon. While this very well may end up being a great back and forth game, in the end, I think the Philadelphia 76ers talent will end up putting them over the top against a tough Charlotte Hornets team led by LaMelo Ball. Both the Hornets and 76ers are going to be very competitive teams in the future in the Eastern Conference but at the moment, this one is for the 76ers to take.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks – 1pm ET

The struggling Cleveland Cavaliers are going to be desperate for the victory over the New York Knicks in this one. While the New York Knicks will look to continue to add to the Cavaliers woes.

My first pick for this game is the Cleveland Cavaliers all-star point guard Darius Garland. With all the injuries that have caught up to the Cleveland Cavaliers this season they have been playing some rough basketball as of late. However, one of the bright spots that are responsible for why this Cavs team will be at the very least, a play-in playoff team is Darius Garland. That is why I am expecting another big-time performance out of Garland both scoring and passing the basketball. I can easily see Darius Garland getting a double-double in this must-win game against the New York Knicks.

My second pick for this game is Cleveland Cavaliers stretch four Kevin Love. Love has completely reinvented his career by coming off on the bench this season. As Love has been putting up some great numbers in his new role. He is another part of why the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to be in the NBA playoffs this season. I think Love is going to be put together another great shooting performance in this one and end up with double-digit points on the scoresheet on Saturday afternoon.

Brooklyn Nets @ Atlanta Hawks – 7:30pm ET

Both of these teams have underperformed this season. Both of them will also end up playing in the playoff play-in round. This one may even be a preview of a potential playoff play-in matchup. As both teams enter this one with identical records.

My first pick for this game is the Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant. Durant has carried the Brooklyn Nets the entire season and I expect it to happen again in this one. Durant is one of the best players in the National Basketball Association and is already a sure-fire Hall Of Famer. If he can manage to lead this Brooklyn Nets team to an NBA championship then his legacy will be certified. I look for Durant to put up a big scoring performance in this one coming off of his impressive 26 point performance in the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening.

My second pick for this game is a Brooklyn Nets victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks may be without Trae Young on Saturday evening and while that is bad enough they may also be missing Lou Williams and John Collins as well, which makes the hill to climb that much tougher. Both of these teams are coming into this one desperate for a victory as they have matching 40-37 records with only four regular-season games left following this one. I think Brooklyn’s combined talent of Durant and Irving is enough to get them over the top.

Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls – 8pm ET

Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference are set to meet in this one as the Miami Heat take on the Chicago Bulls. Both of these teams are still fighting for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. As the Heat enters this game with a record of 49-28 while Chicago is 45-32.

My first pick for this game is the Miami Heat’s, Jimmy Butler. Since coming into the National Basketball Association, Butler has always been praised for his hard work effort, and defensive ability. However, over the last handful of years, his offensive game has started to blossom as well and now he has become one of the best two-way players in the league next to the Los Angeles Clippers Kawhi Leonard. I am expecting a big performance on the offensive end for Jimmy Butler in this one as he tries to get the Miami Heat back to the top of the Eastern Conference.

My second pick for this game is the former Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs star, DeMar DeRozan. With Zach LaVine likely to miss this game for the Chicago Bulls, the main scoring threat in this one will certainly end up being DeRozan. He has been putting up Most Valuable Player award-winning types of numbers all season long and it likely isn’t going to stop in this one. As the Bulls will be looking to grab some momentum heading into the NBA playoffs. As they look to win their first NBA championship since Michael Jordan left town.

Utah Jazz @ Golden State Warriors – 8:30pm ET

Two of the top teams in the Western Conference are set to face off in this game as the Utah Jazz take on the Golden State Warriors. Utah is the team that needs the win in this one as Golden State is locked into second place in the Western Conference at this point.

My first pick for this game is Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley. Conley has put together a great season in Utah this season and he is part of the reason the Utah Jazz are a dark horse team heading into the NBA playoffs. I think Conley will put up another great performance in this one against the Golden State Warriors. He has been excellent this season both scoring and passing the basketball. That is why I can easily see him getting a double-double in this one.

My second pick for this game is a Utah Jazz victory over the Golden State Warriors. The Utah Jazz still has everything to play for this season while the Golden State Warriors can afford to rest some of their guys. That is why I have Utah coming out on top in this battle of Western Conference teams on Saturday night in the Bay Area. This game could be a potential preview of the Western Conference finals this season as well which would end up being a great series in my opinion.
