My first pick for this game is for the Cleveland Cavaliers all star shooting guard Darius Garland. I expect Garland to have the performance of his career in this must win game against the Brooklyn Nets. Garland has blossomed into a star this season and he’s only going to keep getting better and better as time goes on. He has shown that he can be the perfect cornerstone piece for this franchise to build around into the future and I expect him to deliver in this one to get the Cavs back to the playoffs for the first time with Lebron since the 90s.

My second pick for this game is for the Brooklyn Nets superstar point guard and former Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving. When it comes to the Cleveland Cavaliers, not many players are more remembered in the land than Kyrie Irving as he helped lead the team to their first title in franchise history back in 2016. However, I think he will shine bright against them in this one while the focus will be more on shutting down Kevin Durant. As I expect Irving to go crazy in a losing effort.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 9:30pm ET
My first pick for this game is for the Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George. The former Indiana Pacer and Oklahoma City Thunders star should be well rested in this one as he missed the majority of the regular season. Which could either end up being a very bad thing or a very good thing for the Los Angeles Clippers depending on which version of Paul George suits up for the Clippers in this playoff play-in game. I look for the good version to show up as I look for a big performance from him.

My second pick for this game is a Minnesota Timberwolves victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in this seven seed vs eight seed contest. Minnesota has been playing good basketball all season long led by Karl Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards and I expect them to grab the win and the seventh seed in this playoff play-in game to set themselves up for a first round matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant.
